    03:13 you're making such a great point...
    I got in trouble during setup/soundcheck because i got all confused with the user in/out stuff (which i've barely used so far), and now thanks to you i know the key is to set it up in advance, mirroring your default routing.
    This video is a godsend.

    I just leave everything at User In and User Out for all channels. In that case i don't have to double check for any routing-related things.
    So in case i have to edit the routing i know exactly that my go-to window is either User In or User Out.
    The possibilities are great but in my opinion Behringer kinda overcomplicates stuff.
    Why not grey out stuff that is already connected via UserIn/Out in the other tabs / windows? 😞

    Wondering if you could make a quick video. I am thinking of getting the M32C, with the DL 32, but I want to know if the back of the m32C(talkback, Monitor LR) actually works, I seen review of them “not” working and just to be clarified before I make the purchase!

    • @danielkharrat
      @danielkharrat  Před rokem +1

      They definitely work but keep in mind both the monitor outs and the talkback input are quarter inch jack not xlr. And there's no headphones plug. The monitor out is 2 separate L and R plugs

    Great, video!
    But, is it possible to use the same number of output in the stagebox and the console for different purposes? An example: stage box out 1 for a wage monitor and console out 1 for a matrix?
    Thanks!

    • @danielkharrat
      @danielkharrat  Před rokem +1

      Yes of course you can
      First of all you configure your virtual outputs in the OUT page
      So let's say output 1 is mixbus 1 and output 2 is matrix 1
      Then you go to the XLR page (that is for your local xlr outputs on the console)
      And you assign outputs 1-4 to User Out 1-4
      Then you go to the user out page
      And you assign user output 1 to OUT 2
      so now XLR output 1 on the console is taking the signal from the output 2 of the OUT page which you already assigned to be matrix 1
      And xlr output 1 on the stage box is still taking the signal from mixbus 1

    i have the same rack setup. M32c w DL32. with 2 PSM300's and 4 packs. Using the AESA50 A output to DL 32 AES50 A. Why would you use a user input? dumb question. what is user input and how is it different

    • @danielkharrat

      It's just a 1 to 1 patching instead of 8 at a time that's it

    Can you do a video of using hardware inserts on the M32C using the aux sends?

    • @danielkharrat
      @danielkharrat  Před rokem

      The m32c doesn't have 1/4 inch jack auxes, but you can still use the aux channels if you get the signal from somewhere else
      I can definitely make a video
      But are you talking about inserting the hardware on a channel/bus or you're talking about using the hardware as a send and return kind of effect
      Since you mentioned aux sends i wanna know exactly what you mean before making a video about it

      @@danielkharrat I am currently using an avalon 737 as Preamp/EQ to a distressor for my vocal chain. (Live application) I would like to be able to insert Distressor so i dont have to carry along avalon 737. I would also like to insert Successor stereo compressor on Bus for drums, and Successor for Main L and R.

      @Banda Lamento Show De Durango okay but keep in mind that since there sre no aux i/o you'll have to sacrifice 5 xlr inputs and outputs from your stagebox to achieve that

      @@danielkharrat Thats what I figured and thats ok. If I get another stage box, can that be used strictly for inserts and the other 2 for input and outputs?

  • @besimbaftiu

    You are missing one simple thing, you have to assign the card to be the user in if you want to record or playback something.

    • @danielkharrat
      @danielkharrat  Před rokem +2

      No. You can do that if you want to record your inputs in a specific order like you assigned them but you don't need to
      The input page is simply there to distribute the existing inputs to the channels, 8 at a time
      The user input page does the same thing but 1 by 1
      But that has nothing to do with the card
      The card records the inputs not the channels
      So you can still record those inputs without assigning the card outputs to user in
      But if you have a bunch of inputs that are coming from different stageboxes and different consoles then yeah sure use the user in for the card
      It makes sense
      But my point is that changing to user in on the input page doesn't break the card
      Also recording and playing back are nkt the same thing
      There's nothing to do on the card page for playback because that page is only for what is going out of the mixer not what is coming back into it
      You deal with playback on the input page

  • @kronk358
    @kronk358 Před rokem

    You could also just go tho the channel you want to change, home, tab over to config, and tell it to take its input from somewhere else.

    • @danielkharrat
      @danielkharrat  Před rokem

      Yes, you can absolutely do that

    • @djabthrash
      @djabthrash Před 7 měsíci

      Yes but the user in/user out tabs provide you an overview, which is very interesting and can make you avoid doing routing accidents.

    • @danielkharrat
      @danielkharrat  Před rokem

      @@danielkharrat Yes you are right.... whatever is best for your own way of working. The Midas/Behringer 32 is a very convoluted mixer compared to some more modern mixers A&H SQ etc with simple drag and drop. I however with the Midas like to keep scenes as scenes, presets as presets and cues as cues. Your three downoads is most appreciated, I have saved them to a usb for safe keeping or to load in when that dreaded moment happens.... you know what I mean. Cos we are all lazy😊
