    Thank you Joe! I was a chronic urticaria sufferer myself. That's what drew me to your documentary. It hit me at age 12 and it has been debilitating to say the least. My doctor actually asked me if I'd considered applying for disability! It is now a distant memory for me. I can't begin to express my gratitude. I ordered your first book and I use it to treat myself any time I feel an illness coming on. I haven't needed a doctor in years. Bless you and keep it up.

    I watched your full documentary Fat sick and nearly dead in 2013 , and I did this juice diet for 3 months and lost 28kg , I was eating one banana in the morning and handful mixed nuts with green tea for afternoon tea but it was very good experience and now again I am doing for 40days juice diet diet starting tomorrow morning 😃

    I'm an old school juicer from way back when the original Juice Man himself, Jay Kordich, was running his tours to promote the juicing life. I purchased Jay's juicer decades ago and was off and running. I've only juiced intermittently when I required it but have since changed my outlook and will now seek to juice on a daily basis now that I am 60 years young. I love these types of videos and use them for incentive to maintain the lifestyle. Thank you, Joe. Love from right coast America.

      I questioned the price of spending $$ for a good juicer. Found great cold-press juicer on QVC- monthly payments made it a worthwhile purchase. Best decision I ever made. Did 30 day juice cleanse- felt fabulous after day 2. Lost 20 lbs- keeping it off by daily juicing and commitment to veggies, fruits, nuts, minimal animal protein. Tons of energy-got rid of acid-reflux & migraines. DO IT!!

    How do you know that it is good to store it in the fridge for up to 72 hours and not 1 hour?
    I've heard that it is better to put it in the freezer so it could be frozen and then all the vitamins and minerals can be saved.

    • @namehere4954
      @namehere4954 Před 3 lety +2

      Plants start to lose nutrients as soon as you harvest them. You see the 1 hour rule to maximize nutrients however it doesn't mean the juice is bad after that. Fresh juice should last for about 3 days in frig and then it tends to deteriorate significantly after that and go bad. To maximize nutrient density, a masticating juicer is the best. Fresh juice is fine up to 3 days later but is most nutrient packed immediately after juicing.

      It means that you want much more vegetables than fruit when juicing for obvious reasons (sugar).

    what about the fiber? that juicer removes all the fiber from the vegetables. Fiber is good for the gut, i think it is not a good idea to remove it all from the diet

    Hello, I am a CZcamsr who promotes Korean fruit foods. Recently, I went on a diet of only eating apples for 3 weeks and came across your channel. Starting tomorrow, I'm going to try a 60-day diet where I only drink juice. I'd like to interview you after this, can you introduce me? I want to help many people.

    Juicing ? Are you saying drinking this every day for ever , Nothing else. No meat. What about the pulp from the vegetables or fruit, isn’t that fiber. Doesn’t the body need fiber? Or do we throw that out.

    • @samh5535
      @samh5535 Před 2 měsíci +1

      People keep asking this question. Juicing is a way to pack in the nutrients and antioxidants from lots of produce for their health benefits. It doesn't mean you stop eating solid food, unless you're doing a juice fast. Juicing is a concentrated nutrient drink that is easy to digest and it boosts the immune system and metabolism. If you ate all that pulp you would get bloated and overloaded very quickly to the point of vomiting, and you would get much less absorbable nutrients. You cannot consume that much vegetables if you eat the pulp. You must juice in order to consume that many vegetables and nutrients because it is impossible to eat that much pulp. This much pulp is actually harmful and causes discomfort and is impossible to fit in your stomach. You only need some fiber, it is not what gets absorbed, the nutrients in the juice is what actually gets absorbed by the body.

    What's the 80 / 20 rule?

    • @tylerreynolds8832
      @tylerreynolds8832 Před 3 lety +1

      It means that 80% of your juice should come from vegetables (spinach, kale, romaine, watercress, chard, cilantro, parsley, celery, cucumber, carrots, beets, etc.) and 20% from fruits (apples, oranges, lemons, limes, pears, etc.).
      I realize that cucumber is technically a fruit, but it is absolutely amazing as a base and is something like 95% water and helps detox like crazy!
      Also, I highly recommend buying organic if possible-it will help even more with the detox. And make sure you drink plenty of water, too, if your goal is a juice fast. LMK if you would like any recipes or other tips!
