Woke up this morning and said to hubby, I’m buying a juicer today, and he said just use the blender. And lo and behold this appears in my suggestions. 👂 👂
Google be listening 😂
Hahahahahaha
The blender will do the job. Used smaller portions of veggies and fruits with 1 small glass of water, coconut water or chicken with lemon water. It works great for me. I feel that when you juice, I ended up throwing away all the fiber. Good luck🙏🙏

Well he is a male. Women love to hear themselves talk so the videos are always endless and pointless. I'm a female I should know.
I was thinking in my head why is he repeating 2 minutes nonsense why doesn't he already start..
So Nutribullet is not an Extractor?
Joyousj yes finally someone who can explain Cristal clear
A juicer + a blender = genuinely the best health care system anyone can own!!! Absolutely awesome!
lukasha682 exactly bout to get my juicer soon I already have the Nutribullet
Riccardo Cacchioli oh shut up. If you don’t like it, don’t watch. But don’t discourage people for getting in their healthy nutrients a different way than you.
he didn't say anything about not liking it...the human body does a pretty damn good job at absorbing nutrients, amongst other things.
They help indeed, but don't get carried away.
lucaboden link of the actual study ? I’m genuinely interested. I stop, using my slow juicer expect in the summer for some fun. But I don’t include it in a healthy diet. Instead I use a blender few times a weeks, easier than cooking and full food with all the nutrient.
I credit this man for helping save my life. He introduced me to juicing, but when I read his book kick the drink...easily, I stopped and haven’t drank in nearly 3 years. Absolutely inspirational! Thank you so much Jason.
Fabulous news!! Please pop me an email detailing your experience with this book. testimonials@juicemaster.com Thanks so much! Amy@JuicyHQ. X
That's awesome Caroline!! YOU are awesome for winning that battle.
Really? I’m looking to stop drinking as well. The book is called “kick the drink”?
sorry, I didn't quite understand what does it mean by "haven't drank in nearly 3 years"? what were you referring to here? the juice or something else?
I read his book and it was brilliant!
So basically almost everything goes in a blender and only hard veggies go in juicer! Got it, thank you.
Hard fruits as well, Apples, pears. Fruits are great in a blender but there is a lot of sugar in them. Just be aware of that.
My soft fruits work well in my juicer and I have a pretty cheap basic one. I’m glad I have both. I don’t always want smoothies and unfortunately I don’t always want to eat veggies (at least in the amounts that I should be) so it’s helpful.
I have had done both since the 1960s. Remember when Vitamix was advertised in the back of Prevention magazine? This was back when prevention was an excellent health magazine. Their selling point was making blended veggie soups that the temperature stayed within the guidelines of eating raw. I still make my green energy soups. The machine had a stainless container and was tall. And of course all the local health stores had books on juicing, eating raw, benefits of produce. So glad this information has been available. I love doing both depending on my body‘s needs at the moment. Organic Garden magazine was helpful in growing veggies. In the 1980s. Ann Wigmore’s books on the benefits of green smoothies were and still helpful. Good to see this generation enjoying the benefits.
'I don't know why you don't, but you don't, do you?`
Love that 🤣
Damn ! You do an outstanding job explaining the advantages of juicing and blending. I thoroughly enjoyed your block of instruction, I have both the Nutribullet and a juicer. I lean more toward the blender because of no waste. Thank you Thank you Thank you
Great to hear this, thanks for tuning in. Amy@JuicyHQ. X
Drying the waste and grinding it 👍👍 for a paste or smooth
I have a fast juicer at the moment, and when I'm juicing leaves/herbs (usually baby spinach, rocket, and parsley) I tamp them all firmly down together into the bottom of the chute before I turn the motor on. I find I get the best yield that way, as loose bits don't get flung straight into the basket without getting juiced.
I also always save a big chunk of cucumber to go in last, as it helps to flush any residual goodness from the machinery, and removes any stickiness from carrots/apples etc., making it easier to clean after use. Celery works for the same purpose. Just a couple of tips. :)
Bee 🐝 thank you 🙏 for the advice
Bee what juicer do you have? I’m thinking of buying one
I have a L'Equip 215 XL. It has served me well for years. :)
awww thank for that advice
I love the advice will try this, plan to let you know how it when for me
I'd love to own a juicer now as well as my blenders. After watching & listening to Jason. I now believe & know, they can be integrated to work together.Jason breaks it down, so that you come to realise there are healthy choices in both. Combined you can have the best optimum health possible.Thank you Jason, & please keep on doing what you do.
Thank you Carol! This little video is so informative in explaining the difference between both. Thanks for taking the time to comment. Amy@JuicyHQ. XX
Words right at the end...totally aimed at me, not massively overweight, but, diabetic (T1) discovered late in life (three years ago) literally only acknowledged it a week ago, health scare and am now taking it seriously. Bought a blender but think I'll get a juicer as well, because, I won't eat veg, had an issue with veg since I was a kid, blending and juicing is the only way I can get my body the stuff it needs. Thank you for this vid.
Hey...get over being afraid of eating vegetables
Clear and to the point thank you!!! Everyone wants to talk and talk and the point is met at 20 minutes typically lol 💆🏻♂️😴
Just come across you Jason, for some weird reason. Possibly the best lesson I've come across in juicing/blending!
One thought which did cross my mind, though is, why would I want to put a fresh juice, extracted using my slow juicer, in a high speed centrifugal environment, simply to mix it with blended ingredients? And especially if I'm going to add some chilled water afterwards, when I could add that instead of the juice, then add the juice afterwards instead.
One great thing about the Nutribullet is the pulsing facility, so that a load of liquid plus smoothie and/or powders can be mixed together without getting up speed.
Great video! Thanks!
I wish I was as enthusiastic about anything in life, as he is about juicing.
This is by far, THE BEST informational video to date!! Thank you for sharing!
Very informative, I’ve been juicing for 3 years n obviously still learning...... it’s a life changing lifestyle!!! 😎
Do you still juice?
Great video thank you for explaining the difference with juicing and blending sometimes i don’t know what machine to use but after 15 years its clear to me now what fruits and vegetables to blend and what to juice and what to actually enjoy to eat. i usually juice on a day off for 4 days keep it in sealed glass bottles refrigerated saves so much time and keeps you doing it all the time, instead of stopping, because to juice you definitely have to be motivated have a system that works for you if not its too much work, but thank you great video.
Glad you got a lot from it, keep up the good work. Amy@JuicyHQ. X
I found a juicer in a cupboard in my rented flat today! Have never owned one, or a blender! I'm 63 years old, ffs! Anyway, so I turned it on and it worked - how exciting! I cleaned it and now it's ready to go - thanks to this guy I now know what type of food to put in it. I can't wait to go shopping and incorporate some new fruit and vegetables into my diet. I'm grateful about what he said about not gulping it all down in one go - I may have done that! Thanks man!!!
“Why don’t you just eat it?”
“I don’t know why don’t you.. you just don’t..”🤣🤣🤣 so much truth has never been spoken thanks for the perfect response to that question. Been juicing for three years and I still don’t just eat the fruits/veggies as much as I juice but I definitely eat them more than I did before I started juicing!🙌
Fruit juice is bad
Myth @@nonsudunk
@@julietruesdell.371 Fact, simple google search proves it. Always better to make it at home than the supermarket trash, but still not as healthy as companies sell it
I've got both and love Jason's recipes, but he is right, the cleaning of my juicer stops me using it as much as my nutribullet.
I’m a bullet kinda girl! But u’ve just made me want a juicer with the idea of pouring the juice in the bullet and mixing with the avo. Wow 👌🏾
I know a few girls who like bullets. :'D
That's smart about drinking it as fast as it would take you to eat the raw ingredients : )
Why?
@@sowhat8307 he explains in the video and starts at 2:15
@@amarismohammed well he says it doesn't really explain it...
The reason is probably so that the juice gets enough time in your stomach for the acids and enzymes to start working on it before it dumps into your small intestine and all the fiber starts rushing it through your bowels and you miss out on a large portion of the micro nutrients and then you also get a sudden loose bowel movement.
@@tehs3raph1m thanks very informative !

I use both depending on how I feel. Love the juicer, like the Blender.
Excellent information thank you very much. Now I know what to blend and what to juice. I thought there is something wrong with my nutribullet.
Bell peppers are the most overlooked vegetables for juicing/blending. Yellow bell pepper could be a soft drink
I agree. Because most smoothie/juice recipes you'd see in the internet today are mostly made of bananas, green stuff, and other fruits. You wouldn't really think that bell peppers can be part of a healthy drink.
Wow! Thanks for this :)
I added bell peppers to my juicer once and because all the magnesium bell peppers had I was on the toilet half the day. Will never do that again. Lol
@@ayovalerie1995 Aren't bell peppers pretty low in Mg? I never think of them as a source for Mg at least. Like potatoes, greens, bananas, fish, grains, nuts, avocados, and darker chocolates all have way more.

totally agree! been telling people that having both is the best combo
If you have a Vitamix there is no need for a juicer! But those who buy cheap blenders like Nutribullet might want a juicer
I love my nutribullet, I have one every morning, and feel so much better from r having them. I do equal amounts of fruit and veg. Love them 🥰
💗 Been juicing and blending almost daily since 2007, and I still learnt something from this excellent explanation. I didn't know you could juice the skin of pineapple! 😀 Well that is a gamechanger, as normally slice my fingers to smitterins attempting to peel it.

Thank you 💕💕💕💕
Homemade orange juice is exceptionally healthy, always use a blender instead of a juicer as you want the whole peeled orange flesh as it is rich in vital nutrients in the juice. So simple, gather 8-10 small sweet oranges, cut in half, peel, and place in blender, initially add three cups water and blend for 2-4 mins and there you go, fresh instant orange juice. you should get 1 litre to 1.6 litres but topping up with a little more water helps.
Wow I'v been looking for a video like this and I finally found it. Thank you!
Very clear and informative video. Thanks a lot!
Hi Jason! I love juicing but im excited with your super blend me book
9:57 "These tools are not just kitchen appliances, they are the best healthcare system anyone can ever own."
YES. I've learned from experience this is 100% true. Soon as I stop juicing I slowly get worse until I have serious problems, like gallbladder attacks.
This is more true for adults who have spent decades eating processed foods and refined sugars. They have a pernicious effect on health, so in our youth we don't notice it. As we get older we need the phytonutrients and nutrition from juicing/blending to counteract the effects (or abstain completely from processed foods/refined sugar).
You can hear the passion in this mans voice. Thank you

A family member was diagnosed with prostate cancer which is at the metastatic stage now. He began juicing and I have to say his PSA levels began dropping which was amazing. However, the cleaning of a juicer is a nightmare. Disassembling all the parts, drying them and then reassembling, became a daunting process and was causing a lot of stress. It was also very time consuming, not to mention it required a ton of produce just to get a couple of glasses of juice. It actually got quite expensive in that respect. I have come to this video to see if a blender will do the same thing. It does not sound like it. Someone suggested using the blender and then putting all the pulpy thick mixture through a sieve or cloth and squeezing as much juice out of it as possible. So, we are going to try that with him. I appreciated this video because it did tell you why these two machines are different and what to expect from each one of them. Thank you so much for this it has helped us make a decision, we are going to go with a good quality blender and a squeeze cloth. Just not sure which kind of blender to buy that won't cost a fortune. Thank you again it was all so well explained as well.

Your point about not drinking the food too fast. . thank you!!! Hi Caroline, you can make up to a days worth and keep as long as they are refrigerated, You can Freeze a batch if you wanted to keep for longer. remembering to take them out the night before you need them. Amy@JuicyHQ. X
Jason Vale is a legend.
Blend it and then strain it... that’s something I would consider since I don’t have a juicer
I don’t have a juicer yet so I put my fruits and veggies through a food processor and strain with cheesecloth. Lots of work but it seems effective.
Yup. I've done that. $20 blender, $1 Dollar Tree sieve. You have to move the pulp around and do it in batches, but it's doable. Cheesecloth would be a lot easier--load it up, wring it out.
@@nodoboho takes a bit longer but where there’s a will, there’s a way! Lol
My have a juicer but my nutritionist just recently told me she would prefer is I just eat the vegetables. She mentioned most of the nutrition and fiber is on the skin. When you juice you loose out on most of those nutrients and fiber according to her.
@@MWORLD333 he actually addresses that in his other content. Slow masticating juicers preserve the soluble fiber, from what I understand.

Sir, juicing is not a healthcare system
I currently use my Vitamix as a "juicer" for celery, I just strain it in a nut milk bag after I blend it for a couple of minutes. Works for now anyway. Then I also use it to make smoothies.

It's bird feeding. The blender and juicer basically chew the food for you before you eat it. It's digested more efficiently that way. It's like when birds ....regurgitate partially digested food into the mouths of baby birds.
Just be sure to chew the drink though - juicing all of it all the time doesn't release the digestive enzymes necessary.
Great information and love the delivery of your amazing tips!

Try using a strainer after using the bullet
When blending air in the bowl gets incorporated into the drink and can cause bloating and stomach upset. I use Breville's Fresh and Furious blender with its Vac Q attachment. The Vac Q is a vacuum that pumps the air out of the bowl before blending so excess air isn't incorporated. The drink is smooth and creamy (no foam) and it doesn't oxidize quickly. There are other blenders out there with vacuum attachments but I really like the Breville. I don't have stomach discomfort after drinking smoothies now.

Great explanation. Bought my juicer last weekend and used it for the first time today. First effort has gone down the sink because I didn’t like the taste (added turmeric and ginger 🤮) but my 2nd effort was quite enjoyable. I wish I had watched this first though, as in the second drink I put in strawberries, blueberries, oranges and nectarines. It tasted devine. Only now you tell me not to juice berries. Duly noted.
Thanks for all the info
Glad it helped
I just baught a magic bullet cus it was 20$ cheaper and more compact, looking forward to this

I'm not familiar with the Nutribullet Balance but I had the first model about four years ago; you really had to measure stuff, have the right amount of fluid and make sure that lid was on tight (or you'd have a mess INSIDE your unit, not good for an electrical component). It also couldn't handle celery (the fibers), almonds (you'd always have a few fragments, not matter how long you ran it), hard vegetables like beets and nut butters (had to make sure you only blended for 30 seconds at a time or risk damage to the unit). Mine lasted a year with almost daily use and eventually died. Also didn't have a need for all the cups and the plastic on rubber connection between the unit and the container.
Took the plunge, bought a Vitamix 750...sure it was 5x more expensive but you don't need to "process" ingredients like I had to do in the Nutribullet. Pulverizes ANYTHING I put in it...first thing my brother did was load it with ice and turned it into powder (which was quickly used for a batch of margaritas...). Celery and beets, no problem. Also steel on steel lockup between the unit and the container and made in America.
Go with what you can afford, but I've always been a proponent of "buy once, cry once".
Very helpful info. Thank you
I want to buy a blender and also want juices. This was VERY informative. Thanks a lot.
