A series like this would've been useful when I first started playing the game. Nice content!
Cheers Joe!
Hey guys, episode one of the new project is out. I've had this idea for the first time about 3 years ago, but at that time my son got his diabetes I, and i never got around to it. Now i've finally decided to focus on this major project. We're going to make one of these for all nations Air forces, Rank I-VI. It's going to be a though long road, i hope you enjoy them ;) A lot of work goes into one of these. Make sure to Like, Comment, Share and Subscribe for more! Have a great day! and again, if you like this, share, share, share!
Jengar is you’re son ok now
I already love this series, take your time, you're doing amazing
This is gonna be a great series. Can't wait for Germany.
i will watch them all for sure
Glad to have you back, Jengar! I really like this idea. Most of the WT tutorial videos that I have found are pretty dated, so it is great to see new content for newer players. My son recently got into WT, and we enjoyed watching this together. Keep up the great work!
best War Thunder channel ever
Also underrated
Cheers guys!
yess
Jengar, you are so good to our community, still helping us in this lovely game, im sub for 5 years. Say hi to Brazil. I recommend u for new players everytime. Hugs!
Hi brazil! :) and thanks Rafael, i appreciate it man!
Jengar/Long5hot and Spit_flyer/PhlyDaily are the best they have made WT ENJOYABLE 😉 that was really hard to say lol
This is how I got into WT. Sure, I have nearly every American plane. Did I still watch the video? Of course! Great video Jengar
The Fighting Squid just flex
Thanks mate! :)
Right! I don't got em all but deff past these and it's good to learn new things 😌 and you can tweak your lineups better after watching these if you ever just wanna kill some noobs lol I feel so wrong going into low lvl BR arcade even realistic cuz most of them are just starting to figure it out a bit lol

nicely done, i did put them in the description as well, but it helps!
@@jengar6258 Oh well, at least it's gonna help some people that didn't read the description (like me).
I still like my little brewster buffalo. It's a fun plane.
True, its fun indeed :)
It was the first plane that really "clicked" with me when I started playing, and I still love flying the Buffalos out now too. It's such a cute, pudgy little plane. :D
I out ran 5 bf109s with it also the airframe can survive up to like 420 mph ish and whatever that is in metric
agreed
Not only are these videos invaluable in decision making of what planes to fly but even more so for people like me is learning the strengths and weaknesses of the planes i will fight since I just don't have the time or money for the insane grind war thunder forces to unlock all skill trees and planes. So thank you for the effort and work you put into these videos. Without it I would have to watch other youtubers 20 min videos on every single plane or have to read all the encyclopedia entries on war thunder itself. So in short thanks man.

Finally I found the plane variant of Oxy's reviews. Thank you for making them! These are really helpful.
glad to hear it mate, next one is on the way!
Honestly I like this. It's like a War Thunder Wiki in a video
Glad to hear it Taisho!
Yes an Oxy type review for Airplanes, keep it up, honestly just copy his format... someone has to do it for airplanes
i've heard the name before in the comments, glad he's a tanker though!
The protection in the wing spar is actually armor for the flight engineer. His station was tucked under the wing to maintain the engines during flight.
Hey Jengar. Great video and very informative, but I think you missed something important with the P-36G: It gets another M2 Browning in the nose making the armament 2x M2 Brownings and 4x 7.62mm Brownings
there's a link to all the regular reviews i have up on all the planes from rank I. This info is in there, i cant get everything in these small clips ;) but cheers!
So good to have you back, I missed your videos tremendously. I wish you and your family health and prosperity!
Thanks mate! glad to be back :)
Excellent video! Can't wait to see your guide on Rank 2!
i'll focus on Rank I first for all nations, then we're moving into rank II :) but its comming!
When I started the Americans, there was no Devastator, no F3F...and the Kingfishers were still before their removal and return. The memories...
nostalgia indeed :)
This series seems to be similar to oxys tank rewiev series, and thank you for made it! It's really helpful for new players.
That was good too like this. 8-)
ty sir, im glad he's a tanker, i would be very dissapointed if this would have been done already for air ;)
Fantastic idea to do this series.
Thank you for your time with its creation
Good luck my friend
ty sir, much appreciated!
Nice video, thx Jengar!
Thanks mate!
A fun fact for the buffalo and TBD-1
Both of them seen action at midway 1942 and after midway the buffaloes were used until 1948 while the TBD-1 was retired in 1942 from active service and officially retired in 1944 this was mostly due to loses suffered at midway (35) which means that out of the 41 TBDs there only 6 made it back or 14% and out of those 6 TBD’s only 3 of the were reusable
This will be a fantastic series Jengar, thanks for your hard work in producing these videos!!
Thanks Michael :)
Fantastic idea for a new series! It's going to take a lot of effort and very long to record footage and edit on your part so I'm extremely grateful for your commitment and dedication for helping the new players.
One tip about Peashooters probably would be to actually squad with someone to place you in a slight uptier so you face fewer biplanes, Peashooters should be one of the more competitive turning monoplanes, losing only to A5Ms and Ki-27s. Not sure about Ki-43s, Re 2000s or CR-42s though, against a good pilot you'll be struggling but new players against another new player I think the P-26 will have a slight advantage, CR-42 is one of the special cases new pilots should be aware of: it's the energy fighting bi-plane, it won't be significantly better at turning than the Peashooter.
cheers mate, and you're welcome! :)
Thank you for putting time and effort into this great guide! Looking forward for more
You're welcome Nova, and glad to hear!
Nice video, now I want to play low tier props again :D
One thing I think you forgot to mention is the F2A's amazing stall characteristics. It remains very controllable even at super low speeds (under 100 kph) which makes it really fun, able to out-turn spitfires with good flap usage, and able to out-stall-climb early 109's.
yeah, i cant name it all and keep the clips under 5 min a piece. for full reviews check the links in the description :)
This is a HUGE effort. Thank you so much.
it is, you're welcome, im having fun making them, so its all good :)
Helped me a ton, thanks dude!
np mate!
Good idea to do this Jengar. I've been flying the P36G and SBD 3 a lot recently and they are really fun. P36G is often underestimated by BF109 pilots especially when you pull reversals. It can turn with most Russian fighters too (just be careful with Japanese fighters like the Ki 27 - don't try to turn fight them) I'm an average pilot and I average 2-3 kills per match. Forget bombs on the SBD because once you've dived you are very vulnerable - put on the gun pods and go bomber hunting you will wreck HE111s and FW200s. You will often get more kills than the fighters on your team which is very satisfying. SBD= Super Bomber Destroyer!
ty sir, and yeah, absolutely :)
Exactly! Sweet times
as a new player is all i need, thanks man.
Great series, even though I've grinded the american tech tree to rank 5 and the german to rank 6 I'm still looking forward to these episodes.
im planning for all nations ;) so maybe your 3rd tree progression will benefit ;)
@@jengar6258 That'd be the british tree, a couple of months ago I got myself the premium mk14 spitfire with the short wings, but allied teams and poor hispano performance have kept me away from it.
Nice vid. The P36G, in addition to having the extra pair of wing guns upgrades the 7mm in the nose to a second 50cal.
ty sir ! did i forget to mention that? damn.. cheers!
Thank You for your uploads :)
you're welcome maurice!
Oooh yes! Much needed content. Also jengar, as a new air forces player, try in your reviews to cover specific strenghts/weaknesses of a plane in comparison to the foes!
This is not a review, for more detailed reviews check out the regular reviews mentioned in the description.
Awesome Stuff! This is something that I really could’ve used when I first started the game. Keep up the good work!
will do mate, glad to hear it :)
This is really helpful, thank you Jengar Of Doom
you're welcome sir!
omg Jengar, this looks fantastic!
Glad you feel that way mate!
Fantastic channel this thanx bn looking for it 👍
next episode is on the way :)
Tnx Jengar for sharing your knowledge with us. Groeten uit Twente
np mate!
Great guide! Looking forward to the next one.
it's on the way, maybe a week or so.
@@jengar6258 thanks for the effort, which I'm sure is immense given the number of planes you're going over. We all appreciate your work.
Loved every minute of the vid. Fantastic videos for someone like me trying to get into the game more.
Glad to hear that, im working hard to make more :)
Good work.
I hope you will continue with the other nations.
Roger that! :)
I love this idea !
Ty, glad it did :)
I really hope the next USA ranks can get their videos, this video helped me a bunch in rank 1. Great guides!
Rank IV, V israeli are first, then Rank V soviets, and then the ppl voted for the british line. After that i'll do a poll again for whats after the brits.
An hour long Jengar video?
ooh yea!
good stuff as usual my good sir!
ty Sir!
amazing series, really enjoyed it!
Thanks David!
👍 Thank-You!
As a beginning player this has been the *best* reference video I've found. And believe me, I've spent hours and hours searching CZcams. 😃
more is comming, im working on the soviet tree atm, there will be a poll soon as to what the next nation should be :)
Wow really nice work! Would be great for a new player! Can’t wait for the vids on higher ranks! Keep it up I think this will get u more subs! 👍
thanks mate, we'll slowly work up the ranks :)
These are the most helpful videos you have looking forward for part 2
Thanks dizzy! working on soviets atm, a poll will come soonish to decide the next nation.
@@jengar6258 we waiting jengar.
Im so so exited to see more videos of this sires. Im going to show them to my dad. He plays warthunder with me (but he is not vary good and struggles at times) i think he will find this sires super helpful!!!
Glad to hear it mate! glad to be of service!
Nice vid, I am br 2.7 in Britain and br 3.0 in Germany, but I want to start USA. This should help me get started, so thanks! Also, next can you do rank 2 of USA?
liked this project so much
happy to hear it!
Thank you so much your a lovely person
You're welcome!
Although I have the m1a2 and every American tank I've never played planes much but I've just started grinding them so this is helpful.
Good to hear :) enjoy!
Jengar, my apologies for the friend request during your video (CPTMinoUSA). Your vids are great - I hope to see you in the skies sometime!
np mate! thank you!
I’m just beginning to play American planes so this is a very nice video
glad to hear it sir :)
I started playing a few years back (three I believe but only played a few months) and just returned and have lost most of what I thought I knew lol. So thank you for this info and hopefully more to come.
yeah, there will be. check the description for any plane you're particularly interested in, i've linked my full reviews there for those who want more info.
@@jengar6258 awesome, I got three of my wife's family to download it. I'll be sharing this with them for sure, thanks again.
dude you have a new subscriber
ty Tycho, welcome aboard!
Thank you for this very interesting review.
Best wishes to you and your family.
you're welcome, and ty! same to you and yours!
Woah, this is awesome, and I feel you're absolutely the single best content creator type to be making stuff like this for WT, I'll definitely be watching all of them, as I'm sure I'll still learn plenty even if I've long since researched that part of X or Y tree.
On another note, did you see all the awesome changes coming for Air RB in the preliminary patch notes for 1.99? Full reworks to scoring, bombing bases now respawn and the airfield isn't a bomb target, AI ground target placement far more spread out, AI units won't drain tickets by killing each other, runway length changes by BR, auto-spotting of the enemy if there's only one guy after 15 minutes, and a couple other things. I think it's only on half a dozen or so maps for now (as a test I assume) but it looks phenomenal!
yeah agreed, the changes for air rb look fantastic! finally!
A great concept, great series, and in fact this US one has been a gem with that SB2U-3 Vindicator and SBD-3 Dauntless discoveries!
Great video for newer players.
thanks mate!
Very nice! I cant wait for Germany as well!
It'll come eventually :)
Great idea to do this. I Look forward to seeing your impressions on the vehicles overtime, even if i dont need them!
glad you like it sir!
great vid Jengar...let me just correct one thing, even if the plane ( i'm writting this after your Buffalo review) doesnt carry bombs, you can still use it in CAS in combined arms, murica's .50 cals will rekt tanks from above...so basically, any american plane equiped with .50 cal can be used in CAS.
i'll be waiting for the following videos, good job.

Jengar you are very entertaining.
ty sir! o7
I have been flying the Catalina lately and I found that she works very well in RB because you don’t get as many up tiers
nice effort
thanks!
Great video, Jengar! I wish this was around when I started playing in May 2015. BTW, do you realize that of these planes also carry torpedoes (RL primary role)? TBD, PBY...
not practical in most matches ;) do ppl use the torpedoes at all?
very nice and useful series.....plz continue this series to all countries
That's the plan mate!
Love the Idea! Will forward to some of my newer friends. :)
Thanks Torrin, that helps!
@@jengar6258 i know its almost a year now but can you make a video for tier two planes (american)
Great series you launched there Jengar, as a 1 month-old player I have a couple of suggestions for your next episodes:
- I don't know if reviews of rank one planes are really necessary, since most of the players will want to get out of it as fast as possible and thus will be more
interested into ranks two and further.
- Make the videos a little bit shorter if you can although the timestamps in the description description help players to find the plane they are interested in (and I personnally don't mind a long video, I quite like it)
I wonder how much time it took you to fly and get a feel for every single plane, looks to be a huge bunch of hours.
Anyway I already love this series, nice to watch and even to listen to and I'm looking forward to the next épisode !
Going back to my tier IV british fighters grinding, see you soon mate !
ty sir, very difficult to make it shorter, especially in rank II, III and IV. I might have to cut the episode's in two there.
Yeah that's what I thought, cutting into different parts might be the good solution indeed, one vid for the fighters and one for the bombers/attackers seems the obvious and right way to go.
Rank 1 is still a part of the game and its planes especially, and wields a lot of fun. Without forgetting the part of just coming back to it.
And wields huge discoveries too, as seen with the US already.
I love the Buffalo! I’ve been playing for 5 years and I still play with the Buffalo!
Gotta love the Buffalo! :)
I'm hooked on the SBD-3. Those gun pods really change it up and the air brake makes it pretty evasive, I've been able to out maneuver people and take them out.
yeah, its definitely fun :)
Idk if I'm weird but I actually enjoy the m2 peashooter. I just stay high and take out anyone with a quick boom and zoom. I don't even need to turn fight with it.
In the peashooter you just have to climb until you are the highest fighter in the sky. Then take out the highest enemy and work your way down to the deck
Nice series, but i would have wanted more Details on the stats, rip speed etc, yet this is still a great rundown on the USA rank one aircraft with the. Most important information and rather relativistic stats.
yeah, i cant put 13 full reviews in there ;) check the description for links to the full reviews on these aircraft that i have up on the channel for more info ;) with 13 full reviews the video would be 3 hours instead of 1.
@@jengar6258 yeah, prabably.
You know that the kingfishers have been removed from research.
Some of these planes aren’t meant to fight other planes like the kingfisher was a scout plane that could land on the water in Pearl Harbor. It was a great plane for what it was used for .
And if you knock of the kayak on the bottom then it’s alright. :)
yeah, but this isnt reality, this is WT, its crap here ;)
Just got my wife into the game, shes lovin it! I will refer her to your guides and tutorials as theyve helped me out as well. Thanks Jengar! BTW what country are you from? I can't nail down the accent!!
The mystical land of Hollandia! ;)
@@jengar6258 Majstic! Ha ha, thanks again.. best guides in WT!
In my opinion, the peashooter is a fun plane to fly bacause is not like the other reserve planes and that makes it a challenging option to choose, but your video was very good and helped me a lot
(Sorry for my bad english, im spanish and i probably failed my grammars a little bit while writing this)
Np Julio! it was good enough, your english :) I'm glad the video helped! o7
when are you gonna do further ranks? I've been having troubles in rank 4
I love the SBD3
i was surprised by it as well!
Im a New player I think your videos are extremely usefull continue please
ty sir, will do!
@@jengar6258 by the way im anxiously waiting for the luftwaffe guide 😊
20:05 almost crashed in to you there XD
yup :)
I wish you’d make an updated ranking list like this for us aircraft and maybe even tank lol
aircraft it will be.
I find it hard to belive that a company like boeing which makes big passenger planes for airlines and even some bombers, would make something as small as the peashooter
true that ;)
Hi, is there more of this for USA yet? I can't seem to find it, looking for Rank III to V for USA. Watched your USSR ones, was really good.
im working on rank II as we speak, and already flying for footage on rank III.
The kingfisher could be an effective naval battle plane. Cap the bases the attack PT boats
Oxy but for Air RB? Splendid!
Oxy?
@@jengar6258 This chap makes tank reviews in a format not too dissimilar to yours: czcams.com/video/ECz5ah4dMvQ/video.html
I made the timestamp as all his reviews have them, which I thought was nice
My advice: Use the F3f. So good
definitely an option :)
how dare you insult the ingeniousness of the kingfisher! great video ^^
i know, terrible ;) ty!
@4:30 At low tier that .50 cal is a monster of CAS. Great plane for an experienced player to take into a tank battle. In fact... is it meme time?
hehe
Do you have any tips for dive bombing in RB
You gonna make more of these or is this the only one?
More.
when i just played WT for the first time i just avoided USA just not to get too much freef****
nice vid anyway

I thank him for his Service John, although he's probably not with us anymore, all the more respect! o7
@@jengar6258 He passed in 1969, ty.
Hopefully your videos will stop spitfire players going head on with my IL2. It hurts me more than it hurts them. Watching them die in such a stupid way.
yep, i see it too often as well ;)
I noticed he had a few rank 2 videos for other countries but when's he gonna drop a rank 2 for the Americans? This video helped me a lot figuring out how I should use the rank 1 planes
soon, first half of june i think.
@@jengar6258 YES!!!! Can't wait man
When you take off the top wings of the f3f-2 it becomes a p47
One time I managed to pilot snipe a b18b in the king fisher and he went head on at me

I get 25 kills a match with the M2 peashooter, I’m new to this game though, I’m trying to get more planes,
That is good, especially as a newer player.
