How inefficient for the Foundation to send a cheque when paying online you immediately receive reference/receipt number for payment. I am not sure that the cheque was ever in the mail given their form telling lies. 🇦🇺🦘

Certified mail, registered mail, also private mail (FedEx, UPS), are available. Also, you can pick up a PHONE and handle your late-ass payment over the ☎📞

There is such a simple thing as tracking which apparently their team doesn’t do. Even, I, used certified mail to mail my individual tax return. That way you know it was received, and the date it was received.

I find it hard to believe that if this has not been paid since February 2023 that they would not be aware of it. I have worked in not for profit accounting for years. Yes to all of this….and they would have received notices about the delinquent reporting and fees.

The timing of this couldn’t be more perfect. They get what they deserve. Was this really a “clerical error “? Maybe. But they are seen as liars so the public won’t know what to believe. Especially since the check is in the mail excuse is as old as the dog ate my homework. If they knew this on May 3rd, why didn’t they clear this up before they left on the Nigeria trip? Pay online, send someone to pay in person - this should have been a priority.
How did their account/bookkeeper not notice their “check that was lost in the mail” had not cleared? My husband gets a piddly phone reimbursement check monthly from his employer and the bookkeeper complains when it’s not cashed in a timely manner.

Yes! I mean, it could be more than a check including the filings. But if it's even close to the deadline and you can't get the paperwork done online, wouldn't you use fed-ex overnight? State regulations are pretty serious matters that many people should be aware of deadlines and not miss them for any reason. This is just a total joke and lame excuse.

It was a Rural Fire Service fire fighting plane. Our fire fighting planes and helicopters have saved many lives and properties and are the hero’s of the skies. I remember at the time thinking what an honour and thought it was abit rude when Harry and Meghan turned the offer down. Now I’m glad they did.

It sounds like the arch foundation in Delaware has blown a gasket. It must be hard for it to continually turn $1 into 5 cents for tax reasons.
'Archewell' give very little of the funds to charity it is registered in Delaware that the minimum amount is 5%.Seems more a way to legally avoid tax.The main donations were a $10 million donation and two $1 million donations very little besides, looks shady.
It’s not just the cheque that’s missing. They also haven’t submitted their records for Archwell for over a year. I’m sure they will have received reminders after the deadline lapsed. Most payments or submissions of paperwork to government bodies can be done online in the UK. Is it not the same in the US? Who even has a chequebook these days? A lot of places in the UK don’t even accept cheques any more.
If they can’t currently spend any Archwell funds it explains the commercial flight to Nigeria. The Harkles weren’t going to pay for a private jet out of their own pockets and they can’t currently charge it to Archwell as ‘expenses’ 😂

It is such b.s. that the check got lost in the mail. This wasn't a simple clerical error. They haven't submitted required filings in over a year! That part keeps falling through the cracks. It's not the paltry filing fee that is the issue. It's figuring out what (false) documentation they're gonna add to the forms to appear legit.

One CZcamsr looked up the actual fee for this specific unpaid article and it was appropriately $200. It just seems very difficult to believe that they would immediately penalize an institution for 200 bucks prior to sending several past due notices first. Maybe they are more behind in fees than we are aware of.
Exactly. There must have been warnings issued before this. I read a comment on another site who said they worked for the IRS and said it was not a minor issue.
I just had a cursory look at the letter (no in-depth read through), I had the impression it was more than a late fee. There were missing forms or reports. I am sure others will discuss these details.
Personally, I am tired of wealthy people creating these types of vehicles as tax dodges and ways to get donations and money to pay themselves big salaries. Certainly done by more than H and M.

The hazmegs have no integrity, she will just spend spend spend until there is no more to spend but she will carry on spending until there is significant debt. Why does this happen? Because they set up a "charitable" foundation to receive money and they expect people to donate because of the now spurious "royal connection". We all now know that only a measly 5% needs to be used for charity. Do they use it all for themselves? Do we get to learn their bank account balances?

In thinking about Archewell and their delinquency, I don't think it is the money because the amount is so minor, so that leaves the annual report. Did they not want to file the report because of the content? What was in the report that someone did not want out in the public domain? That is the real question.
