Sequel to the successful "Venom", in which the eponymous symbiote and his host Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) have to deal with the serial killer Cletus Kasady (Woody Harrelson), who turns into the bloodthirsty Carnage after also coming into contact with an alien life form. Kasady already appeared in the credits scene of "Venom," where he was in jail, but warned that there would be slaughter after his escape. In the comics, Kasady infects himself with the Carnage symbiote during his outbreak. Moreover, the villain Frances Barrison alias Shriek (Naomie Harris) is also said to be involved. Thus, Venom will be facing two opponents at once...

We need more people like Dan.
He might actually have A LOT of "secret" enemies. People usually dont trust in people like Dan, and most of the times feel threatened by that personality. Its because its hard to believe he is actually a good person with no selfish interests. So, people dont trust him, they think hes hiding something, they fear him and, as we all know, fear leads to hate and hate leads to see that person as an enemy...I know this because Im 90% Dan and I got a lot of hate from people. They dont say things to my face, but they talk shit about me behind my back.

I love Dan's character. He's a dweeb and he's completely out of his depth but he tries so hard to help Anne and Eddie. And he's just so nice! I loved the part in the first movie where Eddie freaks out in the restaurant and Dan just covers for him and does his best to help out instead of getting mad. I was expecting him to be some asshole that Eddie has to compete against for Anne but he's really just a good dude who doesn't deserve to be wrapped up in all this symbiote nonsense lmao
I love that he's a good guy...Because it's such an overused trope to have the dickhead boyfriend that's in the way of the love interest . It's refreshing to see a normal civilized realistic situation

The Venom movies weren't really good but Tom Hardy made Eddie and Venom interesting.
it's a similar situation to Andrew Garfield with TASM movies. Really good actor who pulled off the feel of the character and did their best work they could do weighed down by bad scripts/writing.

Edit: I get that’s what he was doing, I just wish this moment was more serious (better) , maybe he says something more deep and heartfelt about how he treated them both and how they both are apart of him, some type of metaphor in there yah know. Maybe then her face could at least show that she accepts his apology as well as Venom.
