What’s the movie about?
The evolution story of Marvel’s most enigmatic, complex and badass character - Venom! Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) is a broken man after he loses everything including his job and fiancée. Just when his life is at its lowest, he becomes host to an alien symbiote which results in extraordinary superpowers - transforming him into Venom. Will these powers be enough for this new lethal protector to defeat great evil forces, especially against the far stronger and more weaponized symbiote rival, Riot?

What an amazing quote. The fact that Venom changed purely because he had an actual heart and understanding of good humans like Eddie instead of the rest of his kind shows that he and Eddie are going to be a nearly unstoppable force. Yes, I know that Eddie was kind of a bastard to backstab his girlfriend for the data, but it eventually lead to the events we see now. Eddie is trying to correct his mistake, which meant that Venom would obviously support him all the way to take down Drake and Riot.
Can't wait to see the third installment of Venom. I don't care what the critics say, this Venom is what we, the audience, needed. Brutal, adaptable but also compassionate.

I really like how Eddie and Venom became best buddies. Eddie changed Venom and Venom changed Eddie to be better. They match because they are both losers and outcasts of their society. The symbiote always tries to find a host similar to them.
The writers and creators for Venom have confirmed multiple times that Venom and Eddie are in a relationship (They call eachother 'My love.' or 'Love' in the comics, repeatedly for instance.)

You think it'll ever get to the Knull story? I mean, this scene established that there are millions more of the symbiotes. And there must be a leader who's running the whole group (and Riot is simply a team leader of the invasion force, and Carnage has no idea about anything, as he's a newborn).

I saw this movie at the theatres and this scene still makes me laugh seeing the symbiote merge with Eddie's girlfriend in order to save him man that was hilarious.
Venom 1 just makes me smile - nearly every scene. One of the most Perfect marriages of 2 characters ever. And Perfectly played. Love both storylines. There's Faith in them-there deep lines.
