- Today we are reacting to a request from Brad over at Bronco Juggalo. We are introducing ourselves to Lordi with their song Hard Rock Hallelujah. This is without a doubt influenced by GWAR. Anyone denying that has no idea what or who GWAR is. Come on in a check out all of my thoughts on this video. Please enjoy my latest video, Lordi - Hard Rock Hallelujah - A Metalhead Reacts - This Sure Does Look Like Something Else.

Eurovision song contest is literally like the biggest TV show ever, much larger than super bowl, and he has never heard of it lol.
Correct, "HE never heard of it". I live in the United States. It's not strange at all that I don't know that show. There are a lot of shows HERE that I don't know too... "lol".
@@ProjectEllsworthReacts You don't have to feel offended, it's just fun how something so internationally big can be unknown to so many Americans.
@@synsam12345 Because they are american, not European. Show some respect dude.
They were not influenced by Gwar, they were influenced by Kiss, Alice Cooper, Rob Zombie and Twisted Sister ;)
Nice.
Sorry, you are an American who thinks that nothing exists outside of America. I lived in the US, so I know what I am talking about.
You may want to acknowledge that there are some 450 million people in the European Union (the US is 330 million) and even more people in geographic area of Europe, which the Eurovision is based on. Russia alone adds some 140 million to that. In per capita income a lot of our countries top the US. Particularly if one takes into account the income inequality in the US vs. here. The world does not revolve around the US.
Also, Finland is the country with the most heavy metal bands in the world per capita. We are quite capable of being creative on our own and have a very good educational system, way better than yours, and it includes musical education for free until MA level. I mean, these performers are likely to be music teachers (with MA degrees) in a primary school. We also have a kids' heavy metal band called 'Hevisaurus'. You may want to check out their video 'Räyh!' (as in a Roar/Bark).
In fact, you may want to ponder about the fact that your culture is a copy of ours in Europe. I would suggest a bit more humility when it comes to your assumptions.

No wonder they won the contest with this performance. You should definitely check out lore of their newer stuff
video was uploaded in 2011, this is song contest live preformance from 2006.
👍
I heard only this by Lordi. But this is Eurovision, so it is quite possible that they tuned down this song, so it performed good by the audience. If you check out thier other staff, you might not have this feeling of mismathcing
If i remember it correctly they wrote this song in like 15 minutes.. Lordi 100% takes the number 1 spot for coolest costumes if you ask me.. They are awesome
Lordi was in a horror movie, I think from the after dark horrorfest set of movies called Dark Floors!! Ahha! Look it up!
If that was in a set of the 8 Films to Die for, I likely have it. I believe I have all of those.
@@ProjectEllsworthReacts yeah it was in the second one I think!!
Just found your channel and I got a laugh outta your reaction. The music video for this is awesome. Idk if you’ve reacted to it yet, but if you haven’t, you gotta react to Lordi’s song Bringing the Balls Back to Rock and Roll. Whoop whoop!
Lordi is a priest and the whole band works in the church
You should check their newer songs, like naked in my cellar, scare force one, borderline, the riff, HUG YOU HARDCORE, tons of diffirent songs. :) And make reaction video!
I've added Naked in my Cellar to the request list solely based on the title. Should be interesting.
@@ProjectEllsworthReacts thanks 🤟🎸

Didn't you do this one already? I wish you would check out some of their other stuff.
Yes. Hence the 2 disclaimers at the beginning of the video. I am moving all of my reactions to this channel.
I think it's a great song, even if it's a little too short. But I guess it has to fit the competition format. The only influence I hear here is Alice Cooper.
Lordi is a priest in a very old church and all the band members work in the same church, that's why they wear masks and everything doesn't match
React on Lordi Devil is a loser
I've added this to the request list.
Lordi looks and sounds pretty Cool John Mudvayne and Slipknot must have been influenced by them as far as looks are concerned
Quite possible, I suppose. Be well, SK.
@@ProjectEllsworthReacts Thanks 👍
To be fair, this isn't the best version of the song, just the one that comes up the most. Mr Lordi's vocals weren't at their best either. If you haven't already, I'd recommend you find the studio or music video version of it, it's much better quality.
