It is almost surreal to see Joni, a world-class pop singer, on the Grand Ol' Opry in the company of country artists such as Roy Acuff, Chet Atkins, Little Jimmy Dickens, and Minnie Pearl. Joni seems genuinely thrilled to be there. I know she recorded many country songs and even did an album of Hank Williams songs. I bet she gets a real kick out of seeing these great clips!
Yes no autotune gimmickry and prerecorded back tracks. No drug induced violent lyrics. No multi track overdubs. This was live performance. And yes it’s still entertaining.
