An upgrade to your vitamix is great! I get 2.5 qts of smoothie. It has a smoothie button too..and it has a food processor attachment. I tried some lemon in my smoothie tonight..it is good!
Thanks for keeping it clear. I just don’t desire all that fruit anyway, for taste. I like it fine with about 10% fruit. If I can tone up better, then it’s worth it.
They say yes. If you have a problem with the seeds thickening up the smoothie they also say it's OK to use Flax seed oil; much easier if texture is a potential problem for you. I use it daily; works great
Hello Thomas thank you very much for sharing with us your knowledge. I am already doing intermittent fasting. If I will have your smoothies in the morning will it interfere with intermittent fasting? Thanks again
@@dr.kurtjohnson1791 it is! keeps me suspiciously full until lunch despite being pretty low on calories lol Thomas's wife Dr Brooke Goldner emphasizes to never worry about protein on a plant based diet, and my own experience beares this out; I play lots of tennis and work out most days and put on muscle just fine, and blood work always shows normal protein levels. something to consider to save money or your taste buds lol
I put a lemon in my low-fruit smoothie. It cuts the green taste to almost nil.
I’m going to try this. Thank you ❤

Love the family smoothie. That’s the one I make for myself.

Gotta love Costco! Those big bags of power greens are awesome.
Can flax be used instead of chia?

Excellent thank you so much. Found you on Chris beat cancer interview with Brooke.
You could soak your chia seeds for 30 mins and they blend faster
Thanks for sharing this information.
I want to know what to eat in a typical day for weight loss.
The family smoothie has an extra 1 banana, ~1 cup pineapple, 1/2 cup mango. That seems pretty negligible amount of calories to nitpick about.
It’s not about the calorie hit. It’s about the insulin hit and shredding time.
I would add that it's also about the flavor. If the kids won't drink it you've lost. It's not about calories. @@78cheerio
Walmart also has organic frozen fruit - all single fruits. I don’t like the mixed frozen fruits.
I just love your t-shirt! Gotta get one of those myself!
Love your combination, Wanna know if the fruit & veggies are organic

The intermittent experts online say yes. Maybe have a smoothie when it's time to break your fast. Hope it all works out for you😊
It’s 2024 & I’m watching “new new”

What are fat loss exercises
What about muscle building
Is this supposed to make one serving?
In the weight loss fat you did not add flaxseed only chia.. why was that?
you can do either or both; flax has higher omega 3 content.
So when doing smoothies do you just have smoothie all day plus a bit of veggies ? Or do you eat other stuff as well ?
he eats other stuff; even his shirt says potato powered lol i eat this smoothie for breakfast every day then regular plant based lunch and dinner.
@@MariuszDz yeah it’s great for breakfast. I like to toss in some plant based protein powder.
