I remember that smile and giddy feeling when I first put a budget 402 into my lightened GTO. It started out making a very mild 470 WHP (550bhp). I later went through and redid the top end, ended up with 550 at the tires on 93-pump. You never really get tired of the sound and the pull of a good N/A motor you built with your own hands. 🥰 🍻 🔧

N/A built right. It's all about making the air pump more efficient. I'm a set of heads away from getting everything out of the current setup. Gonna be fun getting used to that

I'm looking at this car for the first time and I must say the numbers you show are right on for the parts and build. If you decide later to boost then those turbo(s) will run great with just a bit of tuning. We did a big build too and I am addicted to boost so you can imagine the results. I did see the big cam duration and am interested in the lsa number for NA. Saw you had transmission problems...me too....Too much power? ...lol

It was super tough in the beginning but now it has worn itself in and is much smoother 😅
This is beautiful to watch. After getting 90 hp up on my stock gen 6 (500 whp) it is surprising at the gains, way to much for my stock tire. Got those green cats with my car, but in Arkansas I don't need them. Still, would love to check out your car in person if you are still here, I live less than 10 minutes away from GPI.

@@KaylaRundle You live in Scottsdale, AZ? Weird I found this Video. I live in the Phoenix Metro. I missed what you did to your engine. 416, head, cam, lifters, trunnion upgrade? I didnt get a good shot of the front but you didnt run a high ram right? What was your compression? I am assuming you are running headers etc. Thanks. I get my motor back from GPI soon and pumped.

@@chriscooper8210 a 427 can be a potentially bigger project. I don’t know if it’s required but pretty much everyone will have to sleeve their block because the wall thickness at a 427 can be too thin.

Wow Kayla I am so excited and happy for you I've been watching your build from the start I'm so jealous lol I'm watching your video and I got a big smile on my face congratulations have a lot of fun with it just be very careful that is a lot of power can you tell me what kind of exhaust you have on the Camaro I have High full cats on mine stainless steel x pipe with Flowmaster Super 44s with a BTR stage 2 cam and everything else the dod delete had the heads done Pistons crank lifted valves timing chain from the rear main seals and I also went ahead and bought new radiator new condenser new starter new alternator might as well everything else is new have fun can't wait to see you the next video with the high flow cats

Did you get used to the visibility? I tried to look at a gen 5 Camaro but I couldn't see out of it, especially the front low windshield, which obscured the traffic lights.

750hp crank is not 602whp. You’re more at like 670hp. (C8 Z06 670hp dynos at around 590-610whp) 750hp crank is like 650-660whp. (C7 ZR1 dyno numbers basically)

From what I gathered, it’s smooth 🫣… love the build. Keep it up.
There is no lag with a supercharger that’s only a turbo so u would feel the instant power in a supercharger

The stock intake an tb is choking it out in higher rpm I picked up 36 up with ported msd an 103mm on my 416 I made 643
