Well, I haven't addressed the KGB rumors because there are those for each and every active Soviet bishop.

I'm not judging as I'm sure many were put through hell and even patriarch Tikon changed his tune somewhat after being imprisoned by the Bolsheviks. For the ones that came after it would've been easier to go with the Soviet flow. May the good Lord have mercy on them and us! 🙏
