They eat Guinea Pigs in South America as a delicacy. This makes sense why the South Park episode with the Giant Guinea Pigs takes place in Peru.
Was down in Ecuador a few months back and a LOT of the restaurants were advertising that! Very popular obviously. Cuy asado.
Yup it’s called Cuy in Peru. Very neat experience. They’re super abundant in the forests of the Andes mountains.
I had a buddy whose drunk end of days plan involved farming Guinea Pigs lol
I ate a bunch. They're about like eating rabbit or squirrel
yes, in Peru.. & I think it's called Cooy (not sure how it's spelled tho..) it was their main source of prot3in for thousands of years and its grown specifically for that.... when discovered by the outside world THEN it became a pet
The pigeon flying into the falcon's nest was just the bird version of doordash.
😆🤣🤣
Opportunity for advancement - nil.
Lol Uber eats for raptors.
Literally was gonna comment something similar to this. Glad that you beat me to it 😂
No Soup for you!
26:51 while he could've planted his feet on the back pad (if there was room), this is the right & most efficient way to help someone on leg press
Yeah i was just thinking "how tf else are you supposed to push away 150 pounds?"
Why the Hell did my brain read that as " painted his feet? "
"Black Ice" tends to be both thin and wet. This makes it difficult to spot, and easy to mistake as just a wet surface. It's also very slippery due to the surface water layer acting as a lubricant.
Key and Peele have a hilarious sketch about black ice.
also causes the most issues when on paved (commonly asphalt) surfaces, which is why the name
One of the most terrifying experiences one can have while driving is black ice. I was on a highway and hit a patch that was under a overpass that the sun didn't melt due to the shadow. Car actually started to go sideways till I hit the dry pavement on the other side. lucky I was going straight enough that when my tires could grip, it didn't roll or go off of the road... was so fast I had zero time to react.
I've hit black ice a couple of times when I lived up north. If you're on concrete, it just looks like a wet patch, but not deep enough to do any damage. If you're on newish asphalt, you can't tell the difference between the black ice and the regular dry asphalt. The only way you can see it is by reflection of any lights in front of it and shining toward you. But even then, it's usually too late to do anything about it except hope that your inertia will carry you past it and back onto a dry surface.
hate BLACK ice so much. Gets you when you least expect it.
"Aren't you jealous that people can be entertained this easily?" and the shows Starfield lmao!
It's some well earned shade. 👏
That was Starfield? I thought that was Death Stranding.
@@Fayt540 Same difference.
@@Fayt540 honestly 2 sides of the same coin.
@@Fayt540 Just as shitty
24:55 Guinea Pigs are commonly raised as food in some South American Countries. Like people raise Chickens in many places.
Which are also from South America, if I recall correctly
@@derianvandalsenmongolia northern china
@@derianvandalsenChickens were likely first raised in India.
@@derianvandalsen Guinea Pigs are from South America, Chickens where most likely domesticated from Junglefowl found in Asia and spread from there.
@@UrashimaO Southeast Asia if I recall correctly. Before the Columbian Exchange, the Americas had no cows, horses, pigs, chickens, sheep, or goats, so Guinea Pigs were one of the very few domesticated animals available for meat, along with turkeys.
The falcon wasn't upset at the home invasion. They eat pigeons. It was surprised that the food decided to do home delivery, then was just "Well, if you insist..."
I was a project manager responsible for fabricating and delivering those towers, separators, and condensing units. Our trucking company screwed up and went over train tracks, but the span was so long the unit got stuck across tracks for 4 days and shut down the rail line feeding a port. Unit was 320 feet long
Whose responsibility was it to plan the route? I mean, obviously not you, the person responsible for delivering them, but I figure you know who screwed up
@rustylee1836 The trucking company was responsible. It was an outside company and driver who was contracted to deliver the units.
In my town a 4 year old girl was allegedly hunted by an eagle and flown up to the top of a mountain. Eagle experts have said it really shouldn't be possible. However the whole town went searching for the girl and eventually found her on top of a mountain where even experienced climbers needed professional equipment to reach the top so while the eagle experts claimed it impossible everyone agreed the girl couldn't get there on her own. The girl herself were adamant an eagle carried her up all the way until she recently died of old age. This happened in 1932
A full grown eagle can lift a whole ass sheep. Humans have known this for a couple thousand years minimum. A four year old wouldn't even be a mild challenge. So either the experts were incompetent as fuck or that story has some eagle sized holes in it.
@@RoninBlackwingOr probably because they thought it was a myth until they found out about it with their own research
Heck, even rogue wave was considered a myth until they finally recorded it in 1995, and then the research on it became widespread after that
@@RoninBlackwing Indeed, we've all seen eagles carrying goats and other fairly large animals, a 4 year old girl wouldn't be a big problem.
Lmao no
*the girl herself _was_ adamant...
23:44 that's quite unusual for a black bear to come calling angry, normally they don't bother. I wonder if there is more to this story
Unfortunately, it happens in areas where the people insist on leaving their trash out or feeding the wildlife.
Typical. A lib will always come making excuses for the violent blacks.
The man was sleeping with the Bear's wife
I'm still waiting t5o see the dog Henry said t5he owner saved fr4on the bear lmao
The man ate the bear's porridge and slept in his bed. He even took the bear's house! What is even happening these days. It's unbearable!
His face when she asked if it was communal 😂
😂😂😂
Well the person using it can't be the same one cranking the handle.
That one with the dog and the ambulance almost broke my heart!!!! And then I seriously cried... like a lot... happy tears.... thank F for good human people that were like probably suddenly thinking... this dog is this person's family!
thank F? Who is F?
@@connorallgood0922 "Thank F" as in "Thank fuck". That F word... it can be used everywhere. But also, it is a replacement word.-
And that person was probably the dog's family.
Jeannie is looking super cute, love the pink top and her hair looks gorgeous. Watching these two interact with each other is the highlight of my day.
Fun little fact about those splitter trucks, they can also be used to transfer nuclear waste from power plants 😃! Each set of tires can turn individually and it can go a whopping 25 miles per hour down hill! I worked as a Flagger and we had to assist in escorting one. It’s super fun seeing the whole process! 25:12
“Leave Jeannie a nice comment down below”. I got you Henry. 😊
Clearly u don't😂
Her hair looking on fleek
So wholesome.
Well if the candlestopper at 2:13 had been used correctly it would have worked as intended. The lid part is not supposed to point straight upwards along the candle like that, it's supposed to be flipped all the way back, basically pointing DOWNWARD and somewhat away away from the candle. There is a short spike on the other side of the fulcrum from the lid that will keep the lid opened until the candle burns down enough to stop that spike from having purchase and the lid will at that point flip over and basically slap the flame out.
Ein so cute poppin his head in under Henry's arm like 'omgz I brought you the ball, so now you gotta throw it.. cmon, throw ittt!' XD
17:43
I've lived in 18 States from East coast to West coast, there are BOTH restaurants, EACH with those names... just different areas of the country...
There is also a genghis grill.
25:34 I love this little owls expressions and amazement of the feather getting took out of it and pet by it. So cute.❤
28:05 rare are the moments that Jeannie says something so cursed it shocks Henry
We had hawks hanging around our office at work. One time a hawk grabbed a pigeon and ate it right outside our window where we could all watch it. Not much work got done for about a half hour.
25:35 which editor put in the random apex music, didnt expect that in the slightest
16:51: You're in Washington, Jeanie. Everything has moss on it.
I recently discovered a Genghis Khan stir fry restaurant near my work and I've gone several times. It's always been my favorite part of Chinese buffets, so having a restaurant that's exclusively dedicated to it with way more options is really cool.
@21:20 she's like, "ah, my doordash is here"😅😂😂😅
Watching you guys always makes my day thanks for all your hard work and you too Kai
6:24 this triggers me so much anxiety. I saw my cat fall from my window when I couldn't buy window nets, and it just remembering it gives me cold sweat. He didn't get hurt because it was not a big fall and the garage's roof was somewhat soft, but that day is soldered into my brain forever.
6:44 😂 greatest slow motion clip EVER 🤣
That falcon's like "I don't remember ordering Uber-eats."
Hi, runner here. Yes, public transport is a lot slower than you would expect because of many times the buses/trains have to stop and plus the traffic for buses and wait times as well. When I am getting late, I just run there, which usually takes about the same time as a bus ride would minus the wait time and moderately low traffic as well. You don't even have to be an olympic level runner for this, I am 17 and a regional level runner and as long as the bus ride is less than an hour away, running is usually more faster.
p.s. only reason we don't always do this is the sweat factor
at 23:17 that cable is marked and is there to stop cars, not bikes, from entering the golf course.
Yep those clowns just weren't paying attention to their surroundings.
28:30 I've slipped on black ice before... thought it was regular ice at first but when I got up my wallet was gone.
☠️👏🏿
Thank you both for another good video I always appreciate them 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
26:11 His name is Drew Scanlon, and I watched it happen live. He cohosts the Shift-F1 podcast, available here on youtube.
8:08 whomp, whomp
@27:38 this is actually a torture device. pretty sure they'd heat the business end... also no lube.
ouch
Oh damn, well I was gonna go.with. no never mi d it's pretty straight forward
We used to go to Chang's Mongolian Grill. I had forgotten all about it. I can't even remember where it was. Seems like a dream that's faded from memory.
23:06
I had this happen to me when I lived on a tropical island in the South Pacific. (no motor vehicles were allowed, so everyone rode bikes) Except for me it was a coconut and it was night time... .
19:15 Now, that's a pro move, right there ! ... 😊👍
When Henry looked at the medieval device and said "we don't even have stuff like this this good these days" all I pictured was the weird guy saying "You sure about that? You sure about that?"
most likely has a disability at 22:20. other players bein gentle
guess it was answered 30 seconds later lol
16:21
Henry: "We have a 2010 Honda Civic, have you seen the condition of that car?!?"
Jeannie: "...it's got moss on it..."
🤣 best part of the whole video, ty
That mountain bike one, that happened where I live in Australia with dirt bike riders. People put thin wire cables across the tracks at head Hight. Few people got badly hurt.
25:05 If anyone ever tells you that clean energy is too expensive, show them this.
The automatic candle snuffer works well, the one who set up the video just used it wrong.
The spoon is supposed to be swung all the way down, with the prong at the other end of it pointing upwards.
Then when the candle melts down to the prong, the spring swings the spoon onto the wick, snuffing it out immediately.
It often sprays melted wax/paraffin when it does that.
18:00 Chang's Mongolian Grill. We have one over here in Gladstone.
2:17 Those _do_ work, but only when it's mounted correctly. You're supposed to cock the spoon all the way back so it's stands out perpendicular to the candle. Once it burns to the mechanism it quickly slaps out the wick. (often spraying the table with hot wax in the process; but it's an safety backup solution not intended to be the preferred way to blow out your candle)
10:11 she was tied in the whole time she's just lead climbing so it's yards to see the rope since it's hanging at her waist, if you look closely you can see the pitch below her where she already set up gear
19:05 I swear to God that place looks exactly like the Western suburbs of Reno.
20:25 This editing is *chef's kiss*
17:25 That was called "Fire and Ice" where I live. They closed though. It was so good.
some people also put metal strings/line on dirtbike or mountain bike tracks in the forest
That free-solo clip was so tense it made my teeth clammy ... jesus.
You 2 are always so awesome. Keep it up.!
Someone may have brought it up but the hair braid difference is from how tightly you pack and hold the sections. Tight and tight pull and it's a thin braid, loosen the grip and pull for fuller braids.
Where I live, we have both green and red fire trucks. City trucks are red as they are publicly funded. Rural Metro's are green and they are more private, they'll still assist, but you'll be left with the bill if you're not part of their annual program. That's something like... $300ish a year.
The strength of will that it took the operator of the machine at 27:13 I was only watching it and I NEEDED to crank it as fast as it could possibly go
22:46 A $&?!ing trip wire... I had a friend who was decapitated by a wire setup because the property owner didn't want quads running in his woods anymore.
Ghengis Kahn was amazing. We had a couple of them here in Australia years ago, still some of the best food I've ever tasted.
6:25 This clip is epic!!🤩especially the ending.🤣🤣
best laughs in such a long time for me!!
where i lived in Florida they would put wires about head level to keep people off trails. Most people would hang flags on it though... some didnt.
Yeah the one on the video was marked, couldn't really see it in this video tho, but seen that clip quite a few times. Those bikers just weren't paying attention as they trespassed.
Mongolian Bar and Grill. Love that place. I go there, get sake, udon noodles, crunch roll and I make sure to load up on imitation crab, soy bean, egg, pepper steak, onions, green onions and I grab the garlic sauce and two of the house teriyaki with a little bit of garlic salt and lemon pepper mix. Delicious.
something i learnt recently. 2:35 The object on the candle is supposed to be the other way around.
the mountain bike one was a chain fence marked with warning strips, it's on private property, the bikers where in the wrong and were traveling to fast to see the white strips of cloth tied to the chain.
I can't believe jiennie played ace combat!!! Omg! Been watching you guys for 3 years yet i didn't know! And henry playing midnightclub!! Omg!! Childhood memoriess just unlocked!
8:59 that motion when you are talking about what you are going to do to that stick 👀
05:03 = YES, it is rare but sometimes a woman can be an Olympian hero, doing what few can do & with a level of courage & daring that not only reflects higher character & virtue, but achievement in what few could. Such a woman!
There is a Genghis Grill. I used to work for a shop that made those huge grills
16:26 "it's got moss on it" XD
LMAO henrry saying yes after the rock climbing clip 😂
" that's the side you sleep on... okay good" says Jeanie
@20:09 Firetrucks that use high-visibility colors like neon yellows and greens are more common around airports, in some places.
green firetrucks have become more and more popular due to study results of visibility in low light situations showing us green is much more visible than the traditional red
Man that was unexpected, the dog ambulance clip hit me hard in the feel.
Thank you for the uploads. We have Gengis Grills around here
When Henry mentioned Midnight Club for the PSP... Instant nostalgia...
24:50 Google revealed it is most common among Peru and Ecuador. They are known as "Cuy." Reminds me of the billboard where they draw a red mark in a line of animals one side we consider edible and the other pets .
*A pigeon walks into a falcon's nest.* DOORDASH!
The Ambulance one with the dog not wanting to be left behind was by far the best heartwarming video I’ve seen in a very long time.6:00 / 29:00
Hahahaha check out 6:05 over Jeannie's right shoulder after the ambulance dog.
i love mxr plays
Blessed with the best outro ever made!
11:45 I was waiting for the "hello, we have been trying to contact you about your car's extended warranty" joke.
17:50 i have like 3 restaurants with that name napoleon in my area 😂
hello again henry and Jeannie , great fun video again , really well done and thank you guys 😊😍
18:04 A japanized version of this is called ジンギスカン (jingisukan) in Japan.
i remember a project i did in middle school on one of the many wonders of the world and this one happened to be in peru
from that day, i learned they eat guinea pigs there
I don't know why you'd put the Apex Legends main theme in a video with an owl, but I appreciate it, love that tune 😊
Gengis Khan at Del Amo was so darn good! 😂
8:14 everyone in my family when we ride the tower of terror, something always goes wrong with the belt every time one of us rides it for the first time and we have to hold on like our life depends on it... because it does.
The entire time I'm waiting for a new video wondering what happened to Henry going through the 5 stages of grief and finally A NEW VIDEO🔥😭
20:55
exhibit A for having metal sheets under the tiles on your roof...
When I was a young officer we went on a diplomatic mission to Peru, while at the embassy we were treated to traditional foods. One of the dishes was ginipig called cuy. In many South American countries the raise ginipig as a stable source of protein. To be honest it wasn't that bad.
All the videos involving heights had my feet and ears tingling, stomach clinching and making me want to sweat but feel cold at the same time
Everytime Jeannie squeals, yips, or laughs a quick fox jumps over a lazy dog.
15:02 It is in 🇪🇪Estonia, the capital of Tallinn, district Kopli and the tram number is nr 2.
That is a skill thing, i know several guys to done that, they want to proove themselves to be capable.
Last one got me like for real you just saw a man slip and brake the mug 🤣😂
14:30 Watch the standing high jump at the NFL combine and tell me only basketball players can jump! also, love the videos! keep em coming!
all of the fall scares and heights this episode have my blood pressure way to high.
