Very cool! I used to wish that I had been raised with cards and a belief in psychic abilities, but I wasn't. I think it gives you a head start because I had no idea about how any of this worked when I began!
That was great. Those neutral cards that depend on other cards can be really tricky! I tried incorporating the directional cues with the book and still have trouble with it. I just gotta remember to look for the life area and theme cards that the book may touch!
Yes, there are only a few cards that I use directional cues with. Think of it this way; when it lands near a card that's important to the reading, it tells you there's something you still don't know about it.

That's a great attitude to have. Sometimes, however, people tell us "their truth" under the guise of it being our right to know but it really just unloads their burden and places it on our shoulders. In most cases, I don't want to know your truth - only mine - which will always come to me when the time is right. If I ask someone for the truth - that's when I should get it. I like the old motto, Don't ask? Don't tell.
hmmm 🤔 I wonder why the Book is said to send players back to the Garden... well, if the Book is like a diary, then that makes sense - if a confidante broke into my personal journal, they would definitely get demoted to "acquaintance"!
😄Well, if the Garden is the social card and the Book is the card of secrets, I guess that landing on the space of secrets sends you back to the area of others to discover the unknown.

Yes, the book is always referring to hidden or missing content, secrets, and unknowns. If you're seeing it as an "open book" it's because you're interpreting the card's image rather than sticking to the meaning of the card.
