- Funny Story. True Story. A story told like never before. "Best Idea Ever" is a funny take on the actual anecdote of Sir Newton and the apple. Made as my final graduation film at Sheridan College's Computer Animation Program.

I was hired for a popular North-American animated kids tv show right after graduating. Overall Sheridan is one of the more reputed schools in Canada and once in the industry you will find that a major percentage of professionals are Sheridan animation students.

Sir Issac Newton was really a genius person in my perception and I'm big fan of sir Issac Newton because he made a tough base to stand physics with the stability . NEWTON WAS A GENIUS PERSON
I like this version of the story MUCH better!! Although he did make unique equations that are still useful now, he wasn't the first human to realize the phenomenon of gravity.

This little animation definitely made me laugh. The story itself though held me to the very end, bravo, bravo. I'm looking to study animation when I get to college, so I'm looking at little shorts and I'm going through my animated movies at home and like all the others this has a life of it's own. As a student trying to manage all aspects of the project, it was difficult to get a special soundtrack recorded due to limited resources. The soundtrack you hear was designed using some sounds from the library and the chainsaw sound just happened to slip by... :P

@KaderzTV Thanks a lot! I would say a good sense of design and story telling is always a plus point in the field of animation. But there are tons of other aspects of 3d animation that require more technical knowledge. Again, an art background is a great asset, but you should certainly look up computer animation for more.

Yes, those are individual leaves. I used one of Oak trees in the Maya library as a reference. With ambient occlusion and all other passes, the frames with the trees took about 13 minutes to render, per frame.

It's underrated how Newton's way of looking at space and time changed the way we look at the universe for centuries (until Einstein came along).
