I love this design so much! I hope you do too. I used to crochet pineapple doilies and coasters and tablecloths when I was a little girl and LOVED it!! I took that love and turned it into a modern, fresh, wearable crochet shawl design. I was never a fan of “pineapple” patterns, but this is simply gorgeous. Eating my words as I watch this developing. Chandi thank you for sharing this pattern especially the video. I have story to tell you my mom (God rest her soul) had a white pineapple shawl and I always wanted one. I finally even though I have crocheted since I was 11 years old felt brave enough to try doing the pineapple shawl I wanted so long. Until I saw your video. Thank you you explain so well I could do it. ( I knew the stitches and can read patterns & charts) but never felt I was advanced enough to do it) Now I have!!! Thank you very much and did it !!!

Chandi, first off I love the color you're using in the tutorial. I don't remember if you said what it is or what the yarn is. Secondly, you have such a beautiful way of teaching. Thank you for your tutorial. This shawl looks so pretty! I followed part I and part II and don't know how to do the "repeat of 9 rows" now. Where am I repeating from, exactly, for my next row? Do I go back to your part I video and repeat row 2? 3? Sorry, I'm confused.

Hi there Chandi, I'm sorry but there's a small mistake in the row 9 as you've written it in the video. You're missing the last (1 sc into next ch3 space, chain 3, repeat this 3 times) that should come there at the end before the 3dc into chain 5 space, final 2dc.
I was following the written in video instructions since they worked so well after I followed the first video by watching. At first I thought I had copied down row 9 incorrectly but that's not the case. I learned knitting from one of your very early videos and I'm following your crochet patterns now. 😍 Thank you for all your wonderful videos.
Hello, again for row 9, just a suggestion, before the final pineapple, when you write to make the 3dc in the next sc, I mistakenly made the 3dc into the next sc that I saw which was the sc right after the old chain 3 in row 8. To me it wouldve made sense if you wrote
skip the next sc and do 3dc into the sc after that
or
skip the ch3 and do a 3dc into the sc.

I've tried to follow other tutorials for this pattern, but I find that yours is the easiest to get. Thank you❤️ one problem I having is when I finished the first rows , the top of the shawl will not be a straight line?

I am getting stuck on row 13! (Repeat of 9). When it comes to putting 3 dc in the SC. Am I correct that with each pass this row the 3 DC will increase by 1 additional right?

I think I found where I went wrong (round 3) but ended up frogging it and started on a (I think) bit easier pattern for me😊one thing what would help is that maybe after a few stitches if you show what the shawl looks like.
