    There is only one hydraulic pump drivers side rear without pressure from passenger side antenna pressure release valve will be overloaded. Raise driver side antenna to 13 degree angle. You will have to reach under to release unfold turn knobs. Copy sequence passenger antenna. Reposition yourself to driver antenna and continue antenna man 2 removing clamps as antenna man 1 raise antenna

    • @rodney100100
      @rodney100100 Před 8 lety

      its a long range sam, like most sams such as that is has 3 units, a radar unit, the missle launching unit, and the control unit, each group is linked to other groups so they can create a large net of radar covering vast distances, once an aircraft comes into range the system will alert/chose the closest unit and fire [iirc they can drop multiple missiles and radars all around and make it automated so it can all be controlled by a single control platform]

    • @powderwigwoodenteethmf5037
      @powderwigwoodenteethmf5037 Před 8 lety

      +rodney100100 It takes the system 45 minutes to 1 hour to set up and be operational. My buddy said said he seen a crew take even longer to set up when he was active. He said the average time is 1 hour to set up. That's pretty slow compared to other systems that takes 5 mins to set up automatically by itself

      Patriot gets its name from the radar and tracking system used. Phased Array Tracking Radar to Intercept On Target. The huge phased arrary radar is used for everything from target detection to missile guidance, hence the name. It is a combined anti-aircraft/anti-ballistic missile defense system.

    • @NeoEngineCorp
      @NeoEngineCorp Před 8 lety +15

      This is a fine example of what we call a leading question. Notice how the question doesn't ask about the differences in capabilities or actual combat history, but instead already implies that one is better than the other without giving proof. Let me ask you this question: why do highly developed and wealth countries ( Germany, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Indonesia, etc, ) prefers the Patriot, while third world countries (Egypt, Vietnam, Venezuela, Ukraine, etc) can only afford Russian s 300?

      BUK-M2E/M3 is even better then the Patriot system. They both have the same range, but the BUK-M3 fires more missiles and is more mobile. It takes the Patriot system 45 mins-1 hour to be set up and operational. BUK takes a couple of minutes. The Patriot SAM system shouldn't even be classified as a long range system, but it should be an medium range system. What good is a system when it takes an hour to be operational? It only works "sometimes." Taxpayers deserve an better multipurpose all around system. Shit, even the BUK-M2E/M3 can scan the sky 360 degrees
