  • Curious to see what it would be like to live along the Atlanta Beltline, in particular the Westside Trail? Well, that is exactly what is covered in this video. I hop on my bike and take a pedal along the Southside and Westside Atlanta Beltline trails. I start over in Grant Park near the Beacon, and pedal my way westward hitting stops like Pittsburgh Yards, the Lee + White district over in the West End, and restaurants over in Westview. Many of these southwest neighborhoods have went through disinvestment after the 2008 housing crash but things are changing in all of these neighborhoods with a big thanks to the Atlanta Beltline that is connecting all these neighborhoods together.

The trail was conceived as a transportation corridor for walking, biking, and light rail.

I felt pretty comfortable. Not as many people on the Beltline there as the Eastside but I am happy to see the amazing progress that these communities are having.
