Love the new infotainment system
Happy New Year. Your reviews are always top notch.
Now this is an suv
Toyota 4Runners are awesome, especially the current 5th gen 4Runner,love this thing, ultra reliable and its an awesome off-roader
2:17 love the mr2 in the background
I love all 4Runners. I have a 1994, and it’s great. I will probably replace it with another 4RUNNER in a couple of years.
I had a 92. Wish I still had it. Salt and sand for the roads ruined it.
Great review. I picked mine up today, thanks for the great intro to this model i didn’t know about it! Let the adventures begin!!!
i just wish the interior was a little more modern on these
Thanks Ben, that was a good review.
Awesome video! Is it the same with the 2020 except of course the LED lights? Thanks.
Tengo una igual y es hermosa conducirla I love 4Runner 😎👉🏼🚘⛰
Nice "TRD Off Road" with a roof rack and blacked out emblems....
Trd pro wheels brah
..and minus the cheap silver bumpers and accents.
Have had two 5th gen 4runners, this exact one currently. Common complaint is the 5 spd but it is so smooth around town, only complaint is for long highway trips when downshifting it is probably more noticeable than something with 6+. Also pick this one over pro Bc the exhaust note on the pro is 👎🏻
Some ventures come with the trd exhaust from the factory. I don't think it sounds bad at all. Can hardly tell it has one really..
Can you still add the TRD "TOYOTA" front end later if you go the Venture route?
Yes, you can easily buy that. I believe it’s called the toyota “heritage” logo.
How much weight can you put in that basket?
Tl;dr: w/KDSS yes.
Venture 4Runner is a winner.
👍
what's the hight with that busket?
Is that front skid plate underneath bumper standard on venture ? I see other vids on venture and it isn't there
It is not standard- you get the regular skid plate.
Not sure if a venture is worth the purchase? I have a 2020 venture, it's has the same offroad features as the orp and pro but in-between the two models. Depending on your application you're better off with an orp and upgrading it.
Why do you say that? They're identical minus the all season tires.
Forgot to mention you avoid those cheap silver bumpers and accents by going with the venture over the ORP which alone makes it worth it IMO.
@@ShogunateDaimyo We pay extra over a ORP for what really? Blacked out valances, door handles, side mirrors and emblem delete, plus a basket. That's all, basic looks.
@@inyermouthbaybeh while its the same truck, you couldn't pay me to drive the models with the cheap looking silver accents. When will toyota get rid of them? By the way at my dealer it was only a few hundred dollars between the OR Premium vs the Venture. Its not only black emblems but black bumpers, handles, spoiler, and mirrors. You can't paint or even wrap for that amount of money. Its a cool option even the Pro doesn't offer. The Pro loses the side indicator mirrors too. The Venture fills the gap between the two TRD OR models perfectly. Wouldve been even cooler without all-seasons though smh Toyota.
@@ShogunateDaimyo I'm just stating that if someone who doesn't care for blacked out plastic pieces they can save money and get an orp which has the rear locker.
This's perfect cap
Does the venture have any badges?
No
Why do we need to see the exhaust peeing on the asphalt 🤷🏻♂️
You forget to mention the sliding tray.
Trd Pro = Resale value. No brainier.
With $5 - 10k mark-up = no brainer for the Venture.
@@ShogunateDaimyo just picked up my certified used 2020 venture with 14k on it for 48k plus they offered me a bumper to bumper $0 deductible for 10 years! Not that I will need it, its a 4runner!
@Mctrician2 true they all do relative to their purchase price making that argument invalid in my experience. The exception is the custom pro paint schemes but those are a guaranteed $10k mark-up in my region. Just get what trim level you want. Once the new hybrids come out, even with escalating fuel costs, these will always have a demand to a demographic who wants the engine and drivetrain that's been around almost 2 decades.
IE - When i was shopping in spring '21 there was an army green '20 pro for sale with 10k miles asking $60k FIRM which is totally questionable...even with a few thou in upgrades the owner had done already.
@@HVR5567 with the new vehicle shortage it's still fine to go lightly used with similar price point to avoid excessive wait times. The added plus of the Venture is it was only here for 2 years and gone for '22 which will truly justify the 'Limited Edition' Toyota labeled the trim level.
@@ShogunateDaimyo True which is why I opted to go with the Venture package and will keep it stock.
their nice but behind time on updates, power lift gate my neighbors have one she struggles to reach get lift gate closed gas mileage is low being a Toyota , color choices limited
I wasn't expecting my profit from Austin but I was amazed when I saw my bitcoin profit just today.
Thanks Austin. +1.5.3.0.4.2.8.5.8.7.0
I would buy GX460
@K Holman I would buy a M1A
46k ..yikes
If Toyota is about reliability then why do they keep putting 12 volt plugs in their cars? In my experience 12 volts are anything but reliable
No thanks, old and boring.
4Runner says right back at you
@@BenHardyCars first time I heard you being harsh ! really
@@genebooher7402 sometimes I’m funny and sometimes I’m not😆
It’s out of your price range I’m sure. I have a 2021 black Limited in my garage right now with less than 200 miles. It’s the nicest vehicle I’ve ever owned. Keep driving moms Kia or your Chevy S10. 😎
@@Nostromo_1 if it’s free it’s for me🤷🏻♂️
