- I FINALLY READ THRONE OF GLASS. Prior to reading, I literally knew NOTHING about a Sarah J Maas book, or this series, so I really did go into it blind. Here’s my review and general thoughts of the first book in the series.

The throne of glass series was my all time favorite during high school! It still brings back a lot of nostalgia when I think about the books. Honestly, I’d probably still love them if I reread them now!
I think you should most definitely reread them at the same time with me then we can discuss in detail everything that is happening!
I just started Throne of Glass this week and I already finished till queen of shadows!!! Some of your hunches are.....accurate at some points and I love Chaol and Caelena so much it hurts! You will definitely see some of their moments though.....you'll see ;). I cannot wait for your next review!!!!
If I said I’ve almost finished Crown of Midnight and Chaol and Celaena have utterly destroyed me, would you know what I mean?? I’ll try and get my next one out ASAP!!
I read Assassin's Blade right after Throne of Glass and it worked perfectly for me!

I started the series with Assassins blade, and I do not regret it! Personally, I feel it's been the best choice, as it literally gives far more understanding to the whole world, and I do not ever want such needed backstory to be read later, so Assasins blade is the good start!

I read The Assasins Blade after Throne Of Glass and i liked it but not loved, im currently reading Crown of Midnight and I just cant think of anything but this series right now haha 😱😂

I’m happy that you’re reading the series at the same time as me! I was the same in that I didn’t know much about the books before I started but I am HOOKED now!! Just wait until you read Heir of Fire, it’s absolutely mad...
I would read the Assassin Blade before Queen of Shadows! But even before would be fine, but for me it gives the maximum satisfaction if read right before QoS, because that book was so satisfying!
I finished Crown of Midnight today (another video will be up soon!) so I’m gonna go onto Assassin’s Blade now before Heir of Fire?? Do you think that would be okay??
@@MyYAFictionAddiction I mean, sure! But personally I would read heir of fire before, because in my opinion its more continuous with Crown of Midnight. Then by the end of Heir of Fire there is a pause in which Celeana realises the things happening in the Assassin Blade, so I don’t knowwwww, it’s up to you (sorry if my explanation is so messy ahahah)
But I think The Assassin Blade was published a few months before Heir of Fire, so Sarah J. Maas probably intends that order to be followed! Happy reading

@@MyYAFictionAddiction omg so much responsibility! So hard to say anything without spoiling. All I’m going to say is this: Assassin blade is necessary for Queen of Shadows, but not for Heir of Fire. And I loved going into Queen of Shadows with the raw emotions from the Assassin Blade!!
