I already live in America. I appreciate what it truly is as a country but that is rapidly being torn down by leftists, the wealthy, and massive waves of illegal aliens. I'm pretty sure the no colonization mod you got probably just stopped ais from colonizing new provinces and not taking over already controlled land like India and Madagascar
It would be interesting to see this converted over to Victoria 2.
In this scenario it's literally impossible for the natives to do anything interesting. The game mechanics completely require someone from Europe to come over and start bordering them, for at least a moment, before they can catch up.

Drew forgets that merchant republics (such as Genoa and Venice) can make trading cities, which are basically one-province custom nations. To be honest, tho, I'm pretty sure most people forgot that was a feature.
You can buy provinces that's how Spain conquered Madagascar
So, fun fact. the reason the nations like Spain and the Mamluks were able to conquer India and Madagascar, was because of the Imperialism and the splendor bonus of "Ignore Coring Distance." It's not a bug, it's just a feature.
The Timurids is a formable nation. Transoxiana probably formed it after conquering some more of persia.
