Oddly enough, "Arabian China" was basically the setting for Aladdin in 1001 Arabian Nights. I guess this universe is where that story originated.

I was surprised to see Tondo dynasty (8:55) rule that much of territory. They historically just ruled most of Luzon until the conquistadores arrived.
This was one of the best EU IV games I have ever seen, Drew; that was absolute insanity! I'm so glad you found a mod that finally curbed The Mamluks! I was sick of seeing Mamluk Australia as well. But wow, Luristan going in for the win.. I too, have never even heard of such a country, and for them to win the whole game, just pure awesomeness. I really hope you keep up with your upload frequency once your leg heals. I know you have a real life and such and wanna go out and have experiences; but I, and many others love your content, and I love getting to watch a new one every day. So every other day would be nice and hopefully not too hard to do unless you're working on another massive project in which, I'm more than happy to wait for. I really really hope you have another Mega-Campaign planned in the not so distant future. Those were my absolute favorite videos that you have made. I understand it takes alot of time and effort and the amount of likes/views/comments/money made probably doesn't reflect that.. but... I'd absolutely love to see another. I would be willing to invest for it 😂

In Swedish Luristan can be interpreted as a middle-eastern country where you get tricked (Kinda like a pun, because luri(g) means tricky). Seems fitting considering they tricked Ming pretty hard in this game.

@@jihangirastra3851 Actually the Mongols are descended from a rebellious faction of the Xia dynasty, so yes they are Chinese.
@Herdan The Xia's existence used to be debated, but evidence has since come up that they were there. Also, this is splinter of the Xia survived all the way out of myth into commonly accepted history.
Genetically the Mongols are very different from modern Chinese. However, being Chinese is more like a governing institution than a genetic family, kind of like a political movement. It makes more sense when you remember the meaning of the dynasty's names.
If you go by genetics you come to the nonsense conclusion that the Xia, Shang, and Zhou were not Chinese. Therefore I don't think genetics is a reliable way to tell a Chinese dynasty from a non-Chinese one.
@Herdan The Mongols, unfortunately, did not write their history until after they became the world's largest contiguous empire. Fortunately, the Chinese sources for this came long, long before Chinggis Khan and don't seem to have a reason to be biased.
In any case, the Mongols diverged from the rest of China a really, really long time ago. Over 2,500 years had passed when they fought the Song. I guess its a testament to China's age that two forms of it could fight and look completely unrelated, because of time.

Luristan is a formable nation from "Extended Timeline mod" which you probably use, that's why you don't see that often
in the vanilla game Luristan is a vassal to Ajam in 1444, they tend to get consumed in the early 'I hate Ajam' dogpile wars that play out in the very early years of the game.
It's a little fucked up that I'm sad you're recovering because I've been enjoying the cascade of videos.
