I would personally recommend for mods like this one or random country placement to be combined with country battle royale since that always makes the game feel much more urgent and dynamic.

Consider using the battle royale mod in tandem with this one, it will make the AI way more aggressive. Just delay the battle royale start a bit so the AI has some time to build up
