  • In the Japanese village, Kayabuki no Sati known as Miyama’s thatched Village has built a hidden water hose system. This automatic sprinkler system starts when it detects a fire and protects over 250-year-old farmhouses. These Fire Sprinklers are tested twice a year and it’s called Water Hose Festival.

The artifacts and knowledge that are sustained in these sites would either waste away or be relegated to someones private collection. With a site like this visitors can see first hand the way people lived, worked, and played in times past. That's tourism. Nothing wrong with tourism as long as it's not too commercialized.

    それぞれの景観に合わせた消防設備があることがわかりますね。

    2nd place with the beige-looking houses are in Yunan province, China. Look up Wengding Wa village. There was a fire that destroyed most of the village on Feb 14th 2021, which prompted the installation of these water cannons.
    I like how people instantly believe everything they see on the internet and don't even bother fact checking.

    • @Viper1392000
      @Viper1392000 Před 29 dny +2

      Really lazy how the creator had to use footage from Wengding Village, not many videos with footage of either places but they have one at least a minute long available from 2019 of Shirakawa-Go in Japan, enough at least for the short.
      Kinda funny reading the no its in china and no its in Japan comments. Maybe OP knows this though and is wanting the interactions.

      The video is misleading it is showing 2 separate villages, it starts off in Shirakawa-Go in Japan the darker houses then it switches to light tan houses and that is from Wengding Village in China. Then back again to the one in Japan. The one in Japan had them installed sometime in 2019 maybe a bit earlier and the village in China had a fire in 2021 and rebuilt the village with the new water cannons.
