    Thank you Tim. Your channel is my number one source for FADAL information. I appreciate every video!

    I just discovered your channel. I'm a retired do-it-yourselfer and I've been learning CNC for the past few years. Hopefully watching your videos I will get better at what I already know.
    Enjoy your presentation and how articulate you are explaining content.
    Thanks, Peter

    No, THANK YOU! The videos (tutorials really) are the best out there for Fadal/CNC users. I honestly check CZcams daily now for a new AT-Man video.

      LOL, thanks Bob. I don't think there will ever be daily videos though. Keep in mind these are for entertainment purposes only.

    Tim, Thanks for the callout on the video. As a side note I have tested the aluminum GoPro case with Wi-Fi. It works just fine. I even set the back on a aluminum drop to see if that blocked the material. It should work fine with a solid back. Its good to see your shop and channel are doing well. Thanks again.

      Glad to Peter, you are really doing awesome work. You get the whole picture and have the skill base an experience to get it done. I enjoy watching your approach to problems. Thanks for the info on the GoPro and the model. If I can skip the buttons it will be easier to make and less leakage points. I was also going to integrate the air knife into the housing. Then use a rear cover like my other underwater diving housing use.

      Is the Hero4 black the same dimensions over all as the Hero4 silver?

    I for one would like to thank YOU for putting out great content. I really enjoy your videos, and you explain things very easy and concise. The content is great and useful. I really love content where I can sit and relax and also learn a ton of stuff at the same time. Happy holidays and Merry Christmas :)

    Love the channel, thank you.
    As someone that has been in the film and video industry for nearly 25 years - I would encourage you to focus on the content first. The technology can quickly suck the life out of you and the content will suffer. Editing, effects, titles, etc, etc....as you already know.....take a lot of time. Personally, I would rather see more raw content with the time you save by keeping the production workflow REALLY lean and simple.

    • @AtManUnlimitedMachining
      @AtManUnlimitedMachining  Před 6 lety +1

      Completely agree! By quality I'm more aiming (pun intended) for better composition. Framing the shots better, remembering to set white balance, focus, the quick things you can do while filming that increase quality greatly without much more time. I don't think you will see me go to nuts in editing. The long time lapse videos are killer enough (wish I could figure out how to get them to preview better). If you have any suggestions or feedback I am all ears. Being an engineer, this art type stuff does not come easy. Thanks for watching!

    Even with a 3/4 sized Bridgeport clone I bought a matched pair of Glacern 615s and find the two vises do get used much more than I thought they might. Maybe not quite Kurt quality, but there ok. I don't know the first thing about CNC but I've still found your machine alignment series of videos more that a bit educational. Very happy to see your channel growing as it should. 2800 + subscribers isn't too shabby for the fairly short time you've been posting videos.

    • @AtManUnlimitedMachining
      @AtManUnlimitedMachining  Před 6 lety

      I'm very happy with the channels growth, and surprised as well. Two vises does open up a lot of working holding options. For both longer parts and for multiple station work. The alignment series is very universal on any machine. At some point I need to do a set for box ways. Thanks!

      I am surprised that you're surprised! The machinist community online has an excellent track record of recognizing and rewarding good content, good attitude, and good presentation, which you clearly enjoy sharing.
      Thank you and I hope you'll be able to keep on doing what you're doing!

    • @AtManUnlimitedMachining
      @AtManUnlimitedMachining  Před 6 lety

      I hope so too! I'm surprised because it is hard to anticipate what people will find to be "good content" very subjective and hard to predict. I'm having fun, I enjoy sharing what I can.

    • @AtManUnlimitedMachining
      @AtManUnlimitedMachining  Před 6 lety

      Hi Joshua
      The live streams are not really scheduled far in advance. I do them more when I have some time on a Sunday night. Typically I do them Sunday nights at 10PM EST for about an hour or so. If your a subscriber with notifications I try to send out an event notice at least a few hours ahead of time. I don't publicly list most of the streams as I try to reserve them for subscribers.

    Ahhh Shucks, thanks Tim, still get a kick out of the engineerish approach but that is a product of having to deal with the little darlings on a day to day basis. So, all in all I enjoy your channel and the effort you give to it. Well done, keep it up and lose the French Carnival music.

    • @AtManUnlimitedMachining

      Not really something that can be solved remotely. Some machines have pretty good manuals that can put you on the right track, I would start there.
