Great Video Mikey Pipes! Thank you for educating people like me. Who wants to get into the HVAC trade.
Glad to help
I’ve seen Others on CZcams Service HVAC Equipment and only the Reputable Companies teach their Employees to Clean Everything they come into contact with.👍
well, that also includes Pipe Doctor Home Services of Central Florida, LLC
Can we see the Change out as well
Congratulations 🍾 Mikey pipes
Yup! Stay tuned
Great job Christian and mikey
Thank you
Nice complete P/M job on both systems. The clients are absolutely getting what they paid for when Pipe Doctors comes out to do maintenance. 👍🏻
Thanks for the info!
nice job
Thanks!
Keeping it real in the Sunshine State. Make the trades great again Mikey Pipes and Christian. Smash that LIKE button. SMASH IT!!!!
yup
Will u record the replacement? Good video as always
yup
Also when pulling the disconnect make sure it’s not broke and both of the metal pieces come with the plug. I learned that the hard way.
oh yeah, good idea!!
22:56 In Texas we have to water the foundations. We have slabs like Florida and because our soil is very full of clay we have to keep constant moisture around the house, which means during the heat of the summers watering the foundation. We also don't want water to pool around the foundation so all gutters should drain away from the foundation. 🤠👍 I miss my basements!
Basements are fun
Watering the foundation... ever do that (intentionally) in New Yawk ?@@MikeyPipesOrlando
We use car wrap material as our own product stickers, works really well as its scratch resistant as well
hummm...smart. whats it called?
avery mpi 2000 with gloss laminate. To be honest this vinyl was on hand at the printshop that they're quite used to printing so we've stuck with it. With that laminate coat you might get dust debris stuck in between the layers at times, but that's dependant on printshop itself. Probably has same durability as your current one, just 5 years so it might not last tens of years under Florida sun
Looks like the run cap bandit is in Florida too.
yup, he sure is!
I have a cover on my unit when it goes on it goes up in running condition. Spotless in it.
Like to see that. 🧐
:)
The van wrap is definitely not aligned correctly, specially when you look at the phone numbers.
The guy was high and or drunk
Mikey, do you post before and after pics on the customer invoice to show the quality of your teams work? I would 🏆🏆
Do you write off the work performed today since they approved a change out?
Yes we do
If you don’t clean the bottom inside of the unit it will rot the bottom of the coil if it’s in contact with it…the piston at the condensing unit was more of a Carrier/ICP thing…not as likely to see it on newer units as the SEER requirement went up and requires txvs on most units for both heat and cooling
thanks for sharing
Mikey what about a load calculations for that unit. doesn't seem sized correctly? right?
yup!
49.00 likely just gets a quick spritz of the outdoor component, and an overall assessment of the viability of selling a new system... it is like going to the car dealership and dealing with a "Service Advisor". They guy I call spends 3+ hours on a small system on a 1960s ranch.... he uses the manifold and traditional equipment, then pulls out the stuff he beta tests for manufacturers, and he loves to spend over a half hour just CLEANING the outdoor unit. I got to move or eliminate ( using a heat pump washer/dryer no-vent laundry) Currently, the dryer vent sends lint right behind the AC unit.
Yeah. Classic example of “you get what you paid for!”
You probably fried the module when you turned off the breaker. Happened to me before.
nope
Frosting suction line. And you should really clean the top of the condensers. I always clean the tops. Just looks cleaner to me. My opinion. Even wax some for homeowners in S Florida. About 3 hrs south of you.
yup, did you finish watching the video?
Everything is good 👍🏼 just an observation make sure you’re sticker is not off level 😮
Thanks for the tip!
My neighbor has a leaf vac that works great
cool, the leaves were mostly wet and moist
Mikey.. I'm sooooooooooooooo fucking mad that I moved to Winter Haven instead of Winter Garden.. Goddamnit. lol There's plenty of money down here too!!! Great video as usual. I can say, I've never seen a drain pipe away from the house like that and I've lived in Florida my whole life.. Mine comes right off the house like normal and I live in a 97 build.. 2000SQFT house so not sure what's up with that. Seems dumb, how much water you think gonna go to the foundation to cause a problem? lol it''s not like a hose is blasting water 24-7.
Yeah I don’t agree with the reasoning
My. Rule was leave the work area cleaner than when you got there. You could do the best job possible but if the area wasn’t clean it would mean nothing
Agreed. We do the same.
Agreed. We do the same.
nice commercial
Thank you
Mikey, re safety 1st…Christian needs to keep his face as far away as possible from service disconnects AND wear eye protection!!! Hopefully he doesn’t ever learn the hard way. Stay safe out there!!!
Agreed
30k? Damn you get a geothermal installed for that here
Oh yeah?
@@MikeyPipesOrlando yeah most places use a waterfurnace hp Geo which they seem to charge about $12,000-$15,000 for and then the install of the coil here is usually another $10,000-$15,000. Not much done with well systems here. Not sure why that is though.
didnt test float switch
yes, we did
ok my bad
