Hi Trevor - I'm sorry that the transgender video was so difficult for you to do. You put a lot of care in and it shows. I hope you know that speaking out against such hurtful rhetoric is very helpful. Even if you don't change a single mind, it helps to hear someone, anyone stand up for trans people as an ally. Ive been listening to it once or twice a week since it dropped. Hearing a cis man put that much work into trans defense adds so much oxygen back into the room and really helps me remember the "us against them" is 'loving people against bigots spreading misinformation' and not 'trans people against an entire world that hates them.' But I think you will change a mind or two. And I hope your proud of yourself about that.

The split within the United Methodist Church made headlines in the US this year. The more progressive people (pro LGBTQIA+) wish to remain and the conservative ones are leaving.

This is how my parents left the UMC. They didn't like the split and they ended up finding a church that has a constitution that explicitly depicts trans and gay people as the cause of the end of the world.
This was also after I came out to them as trans and have transitioned for almost 6 years now. And they still have the gall to think they aren't transphobic...

How about a video covering tips for apostates? You could talk about the process of deconstructing the beliefs, dealing with the mental health consequences, forming your new beliefs and identity, what life is like afterward, etc from different angles and backgrounds
I know it's not uncommon, but I'm often taken aback when I encounter Canadians who understand the 1st Amendment of the US Constitution better than a good portion of my fellow Americans. You are inspiring me to learn more about Canada and Canadian history.
Aw, one of my best choir memories is when we took a train ride to Chicago. We weren't seated together so we all had no idea where the other choir members were. So somebody started singing the beginning of the set we had practiced and slowly the rest of us all started joining in from our scattered positions all over the train car. It was just pointedly non-religious carols but I hope we didn't upset anyone.
Every choir kid I've ever known non-consensually sings at people in confined spaces and then gets offended if anybody doesn't enjoy it. No, mandatory concerts aren't usually fun for a literally captive audience.

We witnessed history with both Kevin McCarthy and George Santos being sent packing. Sadly, Santos will be more remembered by history than 98 percent of the people in the House. Santos is the epitome of what a clown show congress has become. No disrespect to clowns.
Sorry, but George Santos is the microcosm of your government. What Santos did is minor compare to your celebrated politicians. Only difference, he was loud and did it in the open. It was a warning to anyone that want celebrity status as politicians, nonetheless your politicians are all corrupt.

I haven't gotten to this part of the video, but I see people mentioning that you felt some kinda way about the trans episode. I'm not sure what happened (yet), but I'd like to go ahead and say that it warms me and strengthens me when I hear you talk about the struggles people face, even people very different than you. I'm trans, USAmerican from the Deep South, bisexual, present as female, chronically ill with both known and unknown illnesses. It moves me to hear the quiet rage and suppressed tears when you talk about the indignancies I face and that other groups face. As an exvangelical kid myself, I've cried so many times listening to you remind us that we're worthy of love. I've laughed and hit tables enthusiastically when you, or Damien, have made a point that just makes sense. I try to avoid parasocial feelings, but I do appreciate your work and how you share your own story of deconstruction and eventual deconversion, and especially how you urge your viewers to practice empathy and sympathy and kindness. It means a lot.

When I was a kid, "Jesus was a liberal" was actually a gotcha-level apologetic or retort to throw at a liberal non-believer. I got it from a conservative Christian's talk radio show. Now, it's like everyone's forgotten that Jesus said or did anything other than scold Thomas for doubting.

Whatever you do i will watch. Yoir content really helps me. Im really sorry that happened to you with the powerpoint presentation. Thats a horrible feeling. I had a really nasty workplace experience over like...5 years i guess? I felt like i was doing so well and getting my career back together and it took one person to remind me of it...i felt my mouth go dry, my hands go numb and my vision blurred and i was right back there. Its the worst feeling and im so sorry. It does heal but man it's difficult.

Medieval Catholicism did believe that if you didnt take communion you are going to Hell. Thus the whole meaning of excommunication. It means to not be allowed to take communion. I suspect that belief has not change but less talked about now because people are less superstitious and more defiant to threats.

I doubt Damien is ever busy doing anything. He's totally that guy who thinks he's presenting some new joke or take on things. When we've all heard his joke at least 5 years ago. Does he realize he says "like" every third word?

Do you think his co-host Chuck Nice is responsible for any role other than to respond to Neil? Damien is Trevor’s Chuck Nice. We could all benefit from some more “nice” in the New Year. Caring about all people, whether they are random strangers or not is one way to work on that.

It’s just that the shroud of turin was identified as a forgery immediately after it’s discovery and has been shown over and over again to be a forgery. No serious person believes it to be authentic. Watch my video on the evidence for the resurrection.
