I'm happy about that ! I was getting sick of all those changeing camera perspectives .. Feels nicer
I am all about the drone for the difficult to cover areas. I liked it at the stumps, but not so much after the tabletop. to one side or the other might may the experience better

I wasn't a fan of the drone here, at the previous races at Leogang they had a cameraman sat on the back of a motorcycle following the rider along that section - looked way better the old way IMO!

Red Bull definitely learned out of their mistake that we only saw the last jump from the winning run - this time the coverage is absolutely on point - great work 👍🏻 those Droneshots are fabulous

Top10 riders (last 10) have full runs for ages. Last year's winner was like 40th at the start (because of a crash in quali). It's not technically possible to have it all in live coverage, but I would love to see full runs as additional content after the race on the web. Especially the fastest ones.
Unbelievebale riding. The Speed from Troy is mindblowing and Camile has so much control and shes only been riding circa 5 years! Unbelieveable! Huge props to both riders!
My God! The control and focus that these amazing riders have at those speeds and in those conditions, they truly are the best in the world. Congrats Troy 👍🏻

That dude was on fire!
Funny to see how much faster he was. half a minute faster than the fastest woman on a 4 minute track.
I love Rob of course but he doesn't half miss the obvious at times. He'd just seen Daprela ride the top section like a man possessed and go 3 seconds faster than Pierron at split 1, yet thinks Brosnan must have made a mistake to be 2 secs back. Then thinks it will need something special to Brosnan to pull the deficit back when Daprela had completely stalled in the woods. It also took him and Claudio ages to realize that where Pierron had gained time was the entrance to the woods and not the 'key section' itself. Not that any of this made this race any less entertaining, just posting this to make myself look clever!
I was thinking the same thing! Being a second off in the first split still means he has 2 seconds on everyone else!

I love that drone footage that follows the riders for a good long while. It is brilliant.
I think they should require all riders to wear a GoPro on their helmets so we can get a live "riders eye view" of their run.

Going from the female winner to the male winner was a huge difference. Brosnan was *attacking* the track, whereas the females were a little more subdued. All are stellar athletes though 💯

I was just thinking the same! In just the first shot of both starts, there was almost a 30% time difference. And 20% time difference in the end. Why is the difference so big :O

The wet and dry areas, for us Aussie’s we can do any sort of condition wet or dry because we get lots of rain in summer and it makes our trails wet but yet again the dry we handle perfectly fine because we also have dry conditions
