  • Gwen worked for a US-based NGO in Afghanistan when she met Peter, a veteran who had served in Iraq. They married and had a family. Peter returned to 2nd Commando Regiment. He served a tour in Afghanistan. While preparing for a second tour Peter took his own life.

    Wow. My heart goes out to you Gwen and you and Pete's family. That was the most moving interview i have seen about the imoact that suicide and PTSD has on those affected. May you find peace and comfort

    what a lovely woman r.i.p legand u gave alot of ur life to the army
    alot of emotional scars for all
    alot more for those in the military
