im 12 and not in the best physical shape but my dream is to join the 2nd Commandos regiment as they say "Foras Admonition"
Geeeese Josh. I've wondered where you went. Timor, um yeah, for me, better of left not spoken about I guess. I still speak often to everyone's best friend ol mate Billzy, (sadly he was in hospital in Darwin so did not do Timor) I hope your doing well ol mate. I was Army before Navy and absolutely fried now on this ridiculous Gold Card and War Service Pention thing. Your a legend mate. I don't suppose you know Leut Morcom from them days ?????
Thank You For Your Service ❤ Free Shiela's Nothing Better. Cooooeee Lest We Forget A-Women Lest We Forget
Dont dob your mates in.
What Mates? Personally. If Mates Step Outside Rule Of Law On Our Dirt...In This Day And Age Tech Dobs Ya In Not Others Your Very Own Complacent Selfs Get Ya Done. Also Don't Stir Up Military Members The 6-0 Protecting We The People. It's Quite Simple. Create No Victim & Do Good. Cooooeee Lest We Forget A-Women

Chinese will love you mate.
The lack of support & humanitarian aid to Timor by the Australians military, sickens me to my core, indeed. [Plus] It's a mystery to me honour
My Dad served with BCOF in Japan from early 1946 through until October 1947 and he was only 18 years of age when he signed up. Known as The Forgotten Force, it is videos like these that are so crucial in telling their story but so much more needs to be done at places like the Australian War Memorial etc.
@3.02 Second from the right full image of guy (No glasses) is my dad John Gibbons NX500043. He was 15 when he joined up.
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏👏👏👏👏👏
Proud to say I knew this wonderful soldier and human being. Onya Cheryl! 👍
I admire you, because you have served. Thank you for your honest interview. Best of luck for your future!!
💘 p̲r̲o̲m̲o̲s̲m̲
Huge respect. One Freudian slip at about the 5:15 mark; “to the point where we start the screaming” 👍
There be good food on that big awesome magnificent tub, oooh that's right it's a boat, its beautiful anyhow and I bet the food is good, Thursday its not cooks time in the barrel
Why didn't her Husband pipe up . Those are HER MEDALS . Furthermore , even though she is now Discharged , she Earned the Uniform and MAY wear it at any appropriate time forever more . Have they changed the Rules about that ? I served 1982 -1988 , and the Uniform was MINE . Simply had NOT use a Tally Band .
Edit : The DRESS Uniform you keep and Personal Effects Kit items .
I hope she sees this comment.. Thankyou for your service, and Thankyou for your story! 🙂
"Boatswain's Mate is the Seamanship expert" - basically any dumbass gets dog work. And now she's got bad back, bad knees, PTSD and a sofa sized ass..
il y a person ici?! in Australia army, female soldiers always raped by male soldiers, and officiers don't care, is that true?!
Thanks
West good A.D,AL,AU(...Angkatan Darat Jenderal).? Goods.
Thank you for this video. Terrific story and well done Able Seaman Humphrey for living her dream. Small tip to the producer, try framing the subject center of field and not by a random open window. Just my opinion. Cheers
Wow
Josh was my XO years ago on HMAS Stuart. I still remember him cracking up with laughter because I found out my partner was pregnant with my 3rd kid, he laughed because I shouted "Noooooooooooo!!" On the flight deck infront of everyone when I found out the news. He was always a nice, kind hearted XO who actually cared about his troops
My great uncle lieutenant Charles Hay Was killed in a training run of Scotland his body was never recovered
Damn Tony would’ve died if the dude from grammar school wanted him as his operator
Australia 🇦🇺 will always be proud of your service thank you 🙏.
Cool I'm decended from a family member who served in the light horse Regiment that rode into Damascus Syria and handed the country over to Lawrence of Arabia.👍🇦🇺🐴
Great interview👍🏻Seems like a real decent bloke and good officer and leader, but I get the impression that might ”over-think” things about some situations. Good luck to him anyway👍🏻⚓️⚓️
Great interview, shipmate👍🏻⚓️Sorry you had to leave the Navy….I made some great mates in my time in the Navy and when I left I made a point of staying in touch with a lot of them…..we still have our get-togethers and our Ship Association reunions and I wouldn’t miss them for the world!😀Shipmates for life!👍🏻⚓️☀️
Thank you for your service
Ditto
My Uncle J R Sewell was there as part of the 10 Bomb Disposal Unit and was awarded the George Medal.
Wow. My heart goes out to you Gwen and you and Pete's family. That was the most moving interview i have seen about the imoact that suicide and PTSD has on those affected. May you find peace and comfort
Lovely bloke, I remember you in Concord.
i have a question. what does a boatswain's mate do on an average day?
J . Kovco never shot himself coverup they swapped the barrels of their pistols in that room ..barrells are interchangable Shame on you sergeant
You have NO idea what you’re talking about. Major Callender. Not Sarge. Facts first.
I Cant believe the point she made about the medals.I would have thought by now that people would understand there are a lot of women in the 3 services. A realistic story told honestly. I actually think she should get a lot more recognition for her efforts. It’s must be hard moving around like she did. She is the type of unselfish non complaining person this country is supposed to be about.
Clung on to every word, thank you for the interview. My father also joined the RAF at this time, we are very proud of them all.
Excellent story, shipmate. Fair winds and following seas. OSC(SW) Retired.
I remember you Josh from Tobruk, Great interview.
Useless wanker no-one cared about...Understood.
That’s great. If you finished high school, why be a Bosuns mate? A commission would have been better. Although you can go in to higher things!
I am still in the process of my application and have to do medical and interview. How long is the waiting period after these stage to know if you made it for military training? Thank you.
Condolences what a brave soul and a wonderful heart, tragic loss.
what a lovely woman r.i.p legand u gave alot of ur life to the army alot of emotional scars for all alot more for those in the military
The most interesting bit of the story is when he became an intelligence officer
Maj. Callender is a very smart man
Poor bastard! Long live the memory of this courageous man, and his grieving wife.
Very interesting sir; my dad was with the BCOF in Japan (Engineers) after ww2. He ended up in Korea with the British I think. He was sgt Jim Mudge (fatty) if that rings any bells, take care!
My uncle did wear women's clothing and he was in the American Navy, but your a real woman I can understand why you wear women's sexy lingerie. My uncle didn't bother to shave his hairy legs when he was wearing lingerie do you have crossdresser in your Navy as well.
What the actual fuck
I dont think he could get out of his own shadow
What do you mean by that ? He, who?
