How To Build A Fish Cleaning Table / Fish Cleaning Station DIY For CHEAP!

Hey everyone, we are a south Florida fishing channel, and I wanted to show a video on how I made my fish cleaning table so I could stop processing fish in the kitchen! This is a really simple DIY build for fileting fish made from King Starboard that you can easily purchase at the Home Depot, link below. I had some old table legs, but anything will work like thick gauge PVC or even 4x4 wooden legs. I hope this gives you a good idea and saves you money, no need to go out and buy a flimsy table from Bass Pro if you can make a much better one on your own!

Thank you, I have been trying to figure out what material to use for my station. It seemed like there was a little flexing on the table top (6:45).

It does flex a little, but thats just because I made it bigger than necessary. If you had more stable bases underneath it wouldnt flex. I dont notice it when cleaning fish though. You could also get thicker starboard, but that would be more expensive.

Should have countersunk the bolts

I thought about it, but then they hold water / fish guts / blood. Thats why I went with the carriage bolts on top, so they are smooth.
