How to rig saltwater trolling lures for Mahi Sailfish Wahoo Tuna
Hey everyone, we are a south Florida fishing channel, and I wanted to show a video on how I rig our trolling lures to target Mahi Mahi (Dolphin), Wahoo, Tuna, and Sailfish deep sea fishing Jupiter Florida. I get everything off Amazon but you can find all these products at local tackle shops around Florida as well. The price has really gone up on the Mini Turbo Slammers though, I was getting them for $8-$9 a few years ago unrigged. That's how everything has been in the past few years though right? :(

      It does flex a little, but thats just because I made it bigger than necessary. If you had more stable bases underneath it wouldnt flex. I dont notice it when cleaning fish though. You could also get thicker starboard, but that would be more expensive.

    When you are sautéing the onions in the butter add a little bit of flour and it will thicken the sauce right up. You can adjust how thick you want it by cooking it long to reduce it or add more liquid if you want it thinner

      Of course! Are you going ocean fishing or freshwater fishing? Are you bringing your own gear? If not, your best bet is to hire a guide or charter, they will definitely put you on the fish! Hope you have a great time, let us know how it goes!

      This was actually drifting, that ulterra trim motor died again I'm so sick of this thing honestly don't think I'll ever buy another Minn kota trolling motor. I gave those dudes a piece of my mind at the last boat show when they were pitching their new edge motors. And the price, holy crap!!

    Great family fishing video I believe those colorful fish are Lane snapper not (B-liners/vermillions) Double check just to make sure you don’t use wrong measurements for harvesting. Then again I may have heard wrong. Tight Lines!

      You're right, I know their Lanes but for some reason I always call em beeliners I think because of the yellow lines lol. Beeliners are vermillions which we very rarely catch since they're usually out deeper

    Let me know if you have ever ate those Atlantic Threadfin, I guess they are a delicacy in Hawaii! They call them Moi fish, and were reserved for royalty! We will be keeping those from now on!

    Those are good size pomps; clean them up; cut in halves; cook with olive oil, garlic salt, black pepper and lemon/juice. Add small amount of water then cook (boil) for 15 to 20 minutes. You're done.
