Langes messer highlights - ŚKUNKS 2024

Footage comes from Historical Fencing tournament at ,,ŚKUNKS" event held 26.05.2024. Enjoy :) Hope this serves as example of some messer techniques in action and historical fencing footage somewhat pleasing to watch. Ruleset was half-continuous: limb strikes didn't stop the fight, that's why some exchanges or distance may look weird.

Thank you! Small point for limbs, doesnt stop fighting. Big point for torso and head, stops fighting. At the half time and end time every 3 small points are converted to one big. Only at that times fencers are informed about the score. There are no video challenges. Wrestling is allowed but without slams. Flat hits don't count.
No flat hits and wrestling rules are rather standard in all Polish HEMA, however semi-continuous ruleset I have found very prone to exhaustion and injuries. And it facilitates much more ,,big-swingy-parry-riposte" like oldtimers like rather than Liechtenauer fencing.

@@MarioTwinden I didn't like it. It's prone to exhaustion and injuries, it's harder to judge fairly, it encourages ignoring right distance and getting hit on the arms.
