ASYLUM STRIKE IN GERMANY: Wagenknecht "Other countries can do it too!" Trouble over deportations!
Brandenburg's Interior Minister Michael Stübgen (CDU) has expressed a certain degree of skepticism about the idea of asylum procedures in third countries outside the EU. "This is a possible project that will be very complicated and will not be easy to legally classify," said Stübgen at the Conference of Interior Ministers (IMK) in Potsdam on Thursday. "But I am happy to be convinced that it should be tried." Great Britain, where the model is being pursued with great effort, has not been very successful on this issue so far, said Stübgen, who is currently chairing the conference.
Meanwhile, BSW Co-Chair Sahra Wagenknecht called on the German government to take action on WELT. "Other countries can do it too!" said the former left-wing politician.
