OMGosh, amazing. I went to the doctor for what I thought was a swollen lymph node in my armpit. $3000 and mammo scans, 4 axillary node biopsies later, no diagnosis. Then my should started popping and constant pain to lift my arm or do intenal rotation and touch my back, etc. Really worried, hours and hours of B&B videos on shoulder impingment tests....I landed on this subscapularis tendonitis. I was so surprised to see Brad target the exact spot under my arm where my swelling has been! Did the massage in this video for about 3 minutes, INSTANT relief felt soooooo gooood, and now I am easily lifting my arm and rotate to touch my back shoulder blade, full range, no problem. Amazing!!! Seek, and you will find :)

Oh my gosh I know you wrote this comment 3 years ago but I'm experiencing the exact same thing right now. I've been dealing with shoulder impingement in my right shoulder for a couple of months now but a few days ago I noticed a large knot under my armpit. I'm hoping it's just a muscle knot and not a swollen lymph node. Just curious but did you ever find the cause of your swollen node? Was it caused by your shoulder issue or something else?

@@SebastianLopez-wz7cm Good to know Sebastian! I've been massaging that area the best I can with my other hand and using a tennis ball on the floor. Also using heat on it to try to loosen it up. The knot is still there but I think it's just stubborn and tight.

I suspected that my shoulder/armpit pain occurred due to my right chest area.
But realize now the actual source is just the shoulder/armpit area itself (basically where the majority of my pain comes from).
Guess I'm not gonna die after all.
    Thx, nice video.

A few days ago I fell forward while walking my neighbor's dog The dog went crazy when he saw his home and jerked me and I went for a flying leap. Oh it wasn't fun. I thought I was fine until yesterday I started having this horrible pain under my left under arm like someone was sticking a broom handle and shove it up under my underarm.
Under my right underarm I'm fine however when I lift My right arm my arm feels like it's going to go to sleep.
I have been taking Aleve and it's been working. It has only been 48 hours since the incident. I fell on my torso and my torso was hurt also however it's doing a lot better or at least it seems like it.
I tried to catch myself with my hands I know better but it was a natural response.
I just wanted to say thank you for this it will help me at least now I know what it is and why it hurts.

Hi guys i was surprised to see you replied so quickly to my comment the other day and its really appreciated. I wanted to ask you a question about my rotator cuff injury.
I pulled my supraspinatus and possibly a bit of infraspinatus when reaching into the back side of my car picking something up, big mistake I know. I've ben doing physio for months and have seen improvement but have developed problems with the exercise. I saw my doctor today and he recommended I have another physio appointment to correct it. He also said if I don't show improvement the next step is a steroid/cortizone injection.
What is your experience with this injection? Have you found that patients benefit from this or should I try to avoid it? Thanks guys means the world really.

i either got this or some other pain around the shoulder muscles with my shouldblade, legit pain from just underneath my neck on the rightside of my back, all the way around to under my armpit... i also got scoliosis and had surgery for it done back in 2009. no healthcare which sucks but I know my spine doctor (Dr. Shelokov , who sadly passed away shortly after my surgery), told me that it could be due to the hardware bolts they put in my spine, which he said they could remove or wait until some time passes and see if steriod would help. but he passed away and for years I couldn't pinpoint the exact spot, always just said its deep underneath in my body in that area... now for the past 5 days feels like my shoulderblade is popping out and even shows a little ingrained outline of skin around my shoulderblade which concaves and looks weird, but could be my spine popping out (like a hunch back). point is, I'm pretty sure this is the issue, but I'm sure Dr. Shelokov was correct in telling me that its muscles rubbing and tearing along the bolt/hardware they put in for my spine surgery... would see a spine doctor, but no healthcare, luckily there is a lowcost/free clinic I am going to try and see, hopefully they could help, or at least diagnose it... (it kinda looks like my ribcage sticks out, and then a second mini-ribcage sticks out just under my armpit.. yes, it looks like i have 2 separate ribcages lol, both shifted to the right side of my body due to scoliosis, but i think the one under the armpit is actually the bolt/hardware poking out).. but who knows, my whole body is fucked compared to the average person.. everything with my skeleton is shifted around, hell even my feet/hips, god damn everything.. but this is by far the only thing that's been chronic, and its gotten hella bad to the point i can now say it effects daily living, i cant even read a book for a job / school while i don't wanna do anything else, just had to leave the library after 30 mins due to pain.. sucks.. but i feel at peace knowing its maybe my shoulderblade, and not my spine about to snap in half.

I've also been diagnosed with tendonitis. it's been 6 months & i'm in misery; not dire pain, but living in a misery. Physical therapy did not help, i still hurt. Will this ever just go away or get better on it's own, or will i forever have to live with the hurt & ache of a small rotator cuff tear ? why didn't 14 physical therapy sessions help, it did not. i can't imagine living with this for the next 20 years, will surgery really fix the tear ? advice is greatly appreciated.

It seems mine might be a little bit more medial... Almost in between the rotator cuff, lat, and rhomboid, if anyone can point me in the right direction I'd really appreciate it

How can a tight and glued down subscapularis lead to neck pain, upper back pain and bad scapula movement?

Think of your connective tissue ( in this case you muscle but connective tissue encompasses much more than that) as panty hose. You know if you put them on wrong in just one spot all of your leg is off.. everything is connected like a web under our skin ( fascia) and a pull or " frozen" area can and will absolutely affect other areas . Best in health to you !
