As a Penguins fan, this makes me so happy and proud to be a Penguins fan. So glad we won the Cup. What a great team we have.

+iam_zsk12 I'm no bandwagon, I cheered for Pittsburgh Penguins all my life. This is my team and no way in heck am I switching to a different team to cheer for. Besides, I haven't seen a Penguins bandwagoner after we won the Cup and nobody was cheering for Penguins except Penguins fans.

I think 2015-16 Pens was peak playoff hockey for us!
I miss this team so much. We got 3 cups out of 87/71. I am happy.

This Penguins team is one of the best all round team in the Leagues history I think. You got all star players, one of them being called the best player of this generation. A great defensive line. A good coach, capable goalies. I think the Penguins can win the 2016-2017 Stanley Cup if they stay healthy and driven.
Crosby needed that 2016 championship win to take them out of their slump and call himself an all time great.

I don't think you can compare cap era teams to teams before the cap. In the cap era, I'd put them third or fourth. 2008 Detroit, 2013 Chicago, and maybe 2022 Colorado.

This team got me into Hockey. This team is something special.
I love my pens!! I screamed and yelled all playoffs long and got repeated notices from building manager for excessive noise!!! I kept yelling all the way to the cup!
Seriously... the Pens are in a position to win another one next year if they stay healthy. They have the best 3 lines in the league and a young hot goalie. Kessel is having a blast in the 3rd line... and Crosby's all around performance proved that there is more to leading a team than just scoring goals. Congrats.
We might lose dad (Cullen), Shultz, and lovejoy they are the most notable people that might leave our team and MAF if he gets chosen to go to Vegas :( but other than that we are good
MAF is a great goalie and I think that they would do this for MAF and Matty. Split the games 55% Fleury and 45% Murray. If it sounds stupid just tell me, but I have been a diehard for 13 years now. I am 17 and cried at both Stanley Cup Vics. Fleury made the game winner in '09 and I still remember it like it was yesterday. If he goes then I will have lost a part of my childhood as MAF in my eyes is the greatest Pittsburgh goalie ever. He kept our season alive. I don't want him to go, but if he does we still have Murray. Hopefully he will be as good in the reg. season as in the playoffs. Basically a reverse MAF lol. jk luv u MAF. I think giving up MAF would be the stupidest decision ever. Cully is playing so hope we sign him back. Schultz and Lovejoy please god no and hope MAF doesn't go to Sin City. Dumb idea by the NHL in my opinion. Tell me what you think about the 55-45 idea.

+Frankie Ferri I am so nervous for next season this season went exactly like the 08-09 season but afterwards they lost players to injuries and Free Agency I hope it doesn't replicate from this point on the only player they lost was Ben and maybe Matt if he retires but with rust and sherry undoubtedly improving their game even more this offseason I think our team will be back and ready to run for Stanley the last thing I don't know about is Murray and flower Murray was hot and I don't know if this offseason would cool him off I really hope it doesn't and then flower is very consistent in regular but not very consistent in playoffs. I don't know the goalie situation is a good and bad situation which I am sure most teams would like to have this situation lol
"Third oldest team in hockey. .." That's amazing, considering how fastidious they played over this entire Stanley Cup Series. Selling out, blocking shots, contesting every attempt the Sharks had. Veterans Bonino, Kessel, Cullen, Kunitz, Hornqvist, Hagelin, Letang, Fehr, etc, all played their asses off. Invaluable experience for the younger Rust and Sheary, too. Murray played like a stone wall all 16 wins, though you can't overlook the regular season Fleury had. SJ simply couldn't keep up with their depth, and the results speak for themselves.

As an Aussie Pens fan, I'm so thrilled to have seen my team win the cup, not once but twice. And this one was even more special because of the season we had. great season summed up by a great montage. Go Pens!
LOL . . I ran into Russell Crowe at a Pens game. It was in 2010, the last year at the Civic Area (the Pens old home before Consol Energy Center opened). I was standing there with my dad near the doors, waiting for them to open, and this guy comes walking out of the shadows. He had been walking along the outside of the building. He asked us where the Igloo club was (that was an exclusive bar in the arena, near the ice). He spoke with an Australian accent. I told him that I was sorry, and that I didn't know if there was a specific entrance for the Igloo club. I added that he was addressing the "peasants". It was like asking us where the entrance to the palace was. They guy smiled, thanked us, and walked away, and I was thinking "wow that guy looks familiar". And was wondering what a guy from Australia was doing in Pittsburgh, of all places. I later realized that it was Russell Crowe, and he was in town filming a movie. As I understand it he is a Penguins fan.
It strange to see celebrities that are fans of Pittsburgh teams. Pittsburgh is a very humble, medium sized, blue collar city. But our sports teams are very competitive, and are very good at humbling teams from much larger, more prestigious cities. I suppose that being the scrappy underdogs makes people favor Pittsburgh teams.
My younger brother was a sharks fan and I'm a Pens fan. We don't live in Pit or SJ but it was heated in my house for sometime. Let's go Pens for 2017

as a sharks fan I wore my Jersey every game with pride to be a sharks fan for thr past years, and to watch them make a cup run was amazing, unfortunately with a sad ending, one day San Jose will hoist the cup, instead of crying in sadness..it will be happiness #GOSHARKSGO

This is the best Pens tribute video out of all I've seen so far.
I'm a Red Wings fan and if my team is out of contention I will root for the teams that have never made it to the Stanley Cup Finals. I was disappointed that San Jose didn't win their first Stanley Cup but congratulations to the Pittsburgh Penguins on winning. They were obviously the most deserving team to win it.

The Penguins were the best team in the NHL since late February and nobody seemed to notice. I was not surprised. I called at the end of March and new that if the Penguins were gonna win another Cup in the Crosby/Geno era, it would be in 2016.

This highlight video is one of the best I have ever seen. I am equally amazed by the highlights and the first song. The singing is done in Bulgarian, which makes it even better, and I don't understand a word of Bulgarian.
Awesome vid, so many great story-lines in this season, kessel proving he's a great player, crosby/malkin/fleury quieting the critics, murray establishing himself as an elite goalie, lots of AHL guys stepping up for the pens and proving their worth, kris letang reassuring everyone he's a beast, etc

Uh the pens won back to back in 91-92
The Islanders won from 1980-1983. Four years in a row. The most recent was the Wings in 97 and 98.

I've seen all 4 cup runs, some fantastic seasons by our Pirates, 2 super bowl wins including maybe the best SB win in history against Arizona. Countless great and proud moments in my memory bank of this city where we bleed black and gold. But this one is my favorite yet. We take the criticism of our players and our teams very personal. We ride the emotional roller coaster with them all, through the ups and downs. For our boys to shut the critics up is such a proud moment for us. For the fans and the city that never doubted them. Thank you
Hockey is so awesome. The playoffs are such a long emotional grind I'd forgotten a lot of the stuff that happened during the regular season. Like "Oh yea paul steigerwald and bob errey do pens games." or "Marc andre Fluery played out of his mind most of the regular season."

- Awesome video, well done! Perfectly sums up the Penguins' season; a team that was 'on the bubble' in December, on a downward spiral, then came the coaching change, & little did anyone that the Pens would quietly begin turning their season around. I'm happy for Phil Kessel, who got traded out of Toronto & wound up winning a Stanley Cup with a far more superior team in Pittsburgh. Way to go Phil the Thrill!!

WOW! great vid, thank you for uploading.... so many great storylines in this cup run..... from veterans looking to silence the doubters, to young guns coming up from the AHL to prove that they can play with the best of the best (and I'm not just referring to the Pens) and hopefully solidify themselves as pro players. Not to mention the guys who were sidelined from injuries like Daley and Dupuis. Something tells me Dupuis will be sticking around PGH in a supervisory role for a long time now that he's retired, and he'd be an awesome person for the job

What a season. Tks to GM Rutherford for changing the head coach (tks to the former coach) and taking up guys from the farm team. Tks to Marc Sullivan for re-building a team working with it´s strengths. Pace, quick passing and good checking. It was an awesome time from december. And then, great playoffs. Drama like always. But this are my Pens. Like in 2009 and in the 90´s.From Gemany it ist hard to follow the games live, when you have to rise up at 5 o clock, but i try to follow - and love the Pens, winning the cup or not. I am a proud Pen for about 28 years now. Up the Pens.

This is awesome. It is way more fun than the official Penguins video of the season. The only thing I think it could have used is some footage of Game 5 of the Final, with the huge crowds in Pittsburgh expecting to see the Cup raised.
