If a paying customer cannot fix a failed Valve Index product, they SHOULD NOT be a customer.
Valve Index only works for about 10 minutes. Then you must restart your pc for another 10 minutes of VR.
@@vrforseniors9830 sounds like defective hardware
@@Gamingwithmatteo311 BOTH controllers stop working an the same time. THAT is NOT HARDWARE!! How much do these crooks pay you?
@@vrforseniors9830 what controllers are you even talking about
Yo the VR industry has opened such a large market for accessories. 3D printer lovers must be ecstatic
Blue Light filters are important if you play VR a lot so that your eyes won't hurt from eye strain.
They have a built-in one called "Night Mode" but it makes everything orange (it doesn't look like that when recorded though).
I've got a tonne of vr accessories. Everything from bhaptic gear to motion simulators but by far my most favorite vr accessory is my 12000 btu air conditioner. Not only keeps me cool but also my PC. ;)
Lol I installed the same power
I had a lot of motion sickness from my first time in the new Kayak VR: Mirage, that released last Tuesday. For my second run, I sat in a swivel chair and turned with my feet. That reduced the motion sickness by about 90%, even though the real motion didn't line up with the kayak turns in the sim. It occurs to me that this might also work as a cheaper alternative to cybershoes, for those who need it. But I don't get motion sick in FPS games, so I'm not sure.
I surprisingly enough haven't ever gotten motion sick in vr
Thanks for the mention!
Here's one I recently bought: my playspace is also used for, well, living, occasionally. So the lighting is a little indirect and moody, and the Quest tracking sometimes gets whacky. So I got a couple of infrared floodlights, which actually helps a lot! A couple of days ago, I even had a session in almost pitch black while my son was sleeping in the same room. Very specific, yes, but absolutely necessary for me. And fairly cheap, I think those were 30 bucks a pop.
Did you buy your ir lights online? If so can you put a link in a comment?
@@badmoose01 Links in comments almost always get automatically removed by CZcams. ;-) And it would be on a German website anyways. But I really just searched and went with cheapish but decent reviews... Nothing magical about my choice.
i love these videos
Perfect video for Prime day... which is gone
Actually most of these items are still discounted
Gunstocks are really useful for someone like me who was insanely shaky hands since vr shooters are hell to aim in
changing the tune on gun stocks :)
Thanks for another great video, Matteo. As usual, it's full of useful information--but that case alone would've made it worth watching, as far as I'm concerned.
If anyone is looking for some sort of "floor pad" to help keep them safely within their play area, just getting a good quality (ideally, round) floor rug will work great. I have one I bought from Amazon about a year ago, and let me tell you, it's saved my butt and my headset more than once!
So, a question, since I was late out of the gate with your Monday video: now that Meta has finally seen the light of the advantage of not requiring VR players to actually be signed into Facebook in order to play games that may have nothing to do with Facebook, is it still worth it to get a Quest 2?
I know the new incoming headsets will cost from somewhat more expensive (Pico Neo 3, which rumor says will be released in the States relatively soon) to a hell of a lot more expensive (the putative Quest Pro, and Sony's PSVR 2), but would it be better to wait for one of those headsets, and buy them instead?
After all, I still have my Quest 1 and now that I finally have a bit of time to play, after several crazy months, it's quite serviceable.
I admit that, despite the lack of Oculus exclusives, I find the idea of being able to have a standalone headset that will let me play the fair number of PCVR games I have through displayport a pretty big temptation, but I'd also like to see what the Quest 2's better visuals and lighter headset are like.
Anyway thanks again for the videos, they always either leave me thinking--or pining for cool things like the YAW 2.
It's a tough call. If you are looking for the highest quality games maybe wait
I think I have a gunstock you might like or other accessory options to consider ;). I will reach out on VRD.
Is the kiwi elite strap battery comfortable? (I am planning on buying one and before I do when it releases I want to know if there is weight on the back of the head, etc..)
I dont even notice it.
I absolutely love it, super comfy. I haven't tried the bobo though
Could the shoes work for martial arts or at least kicking during games?
Cyber shoes no. But vive trackers let you do that
Does anyone have a link to that wi wireless mic in this vid? Please share that link.
The link is in the description

Got a 3 dollar index lens cover. Recommended
Are there any haptic vests that have fans built in ?
Not that I know of but I find the bhaptics open enough that it doesn't make me too hot
@@Gamingwithmatteo311 Thanks for the info just got my headset 2 days ago and bought a few accessories based on your recommendation.
My quest 2 addon I love so far is BoBovr M2 Pro Head Strap saving up for a gunstock next or 3d printer to make my own addons for cheap .Great reviews matteo. 😊

Living in latin America sucks if you're into VR. Headsets are overpriced, every service is probably US-only and there's no place to order accessories from unless you pay the high Amazon conversion + taxes + shipping prices. Always wanted prescription lenses for my Rift S but the lenses alone are $100 and shipping is around $30. It's horrible.
cybershoes are not something you would need, first of all they cost more than 256gb quest 2 for a hardware that is used in 1990 mouse, you are sitting down which goes against the vr immersion thing, instead of adding immersion you taking away from it, when you sitting down lifting your legs your back will start to hurt after a while and it isnt health, you dont feel like walking you are just sliding a mouse starpped to your feet, a far faaaaaar better way is to use natural locomotion program with joycons or if you have vive trackers to move, not only you can use it standing but you dont slide your feet you lift them up which feels far more natural than cybershoes sliding, this isnt a debate those things are just bad, floor mats arent needed just use the guardian, having floor mat will make you pay attention to it (maybe) and so you wont be focusing on the game you playing for full immersion.
Like I said, cybershoes for those who suffer from motion sickness and normally can only play teleportation games.
Floor mats if you wander out of place too much especially when filming
@@Gamingwithmatteo311 and like i said using trackers or joycons with natural locomotion does the same thing but better since you both standing and actualy lifting up your feet instead of dragging them as well as being hella cheaper, so cyberchoes are literally obsolete, and as for the mat, if its for quest 2 then there is no need you can use guardian which you would actualy see since it will pop up in front of you unlike a mat under you which unless you are aware of it and thinking about it all the time you will forget it and go outside it
@@mirshia5248 joycons isn't practical for most people
@@Gamingwithmatteo311 what is that even mean? whats not practical about them?
@@mirshia5248 the most popular vr platform is the quest 2 so joy cons and trackers are not an option. So no you only have a small subset of users and most won't go through the process of reconfiguring joy cons nor is it remotely as streamlined as the cybershoes. I'm not saying they are a good product I'm just saying they have a use case
