I have been adjusting it for around 2 hours and still It's not perfectly calibrated...
I highly recommend Kiwi Designs Elite Headstrap
And everybody wanting to use it and adjusting it is so annoying
My biggest upgrade by far was the eyeglo headstrap. Thing was like $30 and it completely changed everything. Sooo much more comfortable, and it reduced my eye strain because I was able to have my headset on much tighter without giving me headaches from the original strap. Buy it.
That head strap seems like a really good accessory to have. I’ve had my quest 2 for about a month and the default head strap drives me absolutely insane. Plus the elite strap is pretty pricey too. I’ll definitely buy one of those. Thank you so much! As I mentioned before I am new to using the quest 2 and these videos are extremely helpful when it comes to handling advice, accessories, awesome free games, or literally anything regarding the quest 2 or just vr in general. Not reccomended to buy the elite strap from meta since it breaks really fast and it puts all the weight of ur headset on ur forehead. I would but the kiwi elite strap its really nice and comfortable for only 49.99 dollars
I know I am late but seriously buy the Kiwi Design elite strap if you still don't have a head strap. It's better and more durable than the original elite strap and it's really amazing. It feels amazing playing with the Kiwi strap on.
i used the base head strap for a year and a half, i now have dents in the back of my head because of the plastic bits

THE VR FACE COVER WAS CLUTCHHHHHHHH literally got one like 5 days ago and all i was complaining about was the fact that i get motion sick, and the fact that cover is a sweat rag, I hate when i let other people use it because it comes back all wet lol

I just got a Quest 2, and I just started watching your videos. Super helpful, so thanks for that! Only thing was I think it'd be good to have timestamps and/or the chapter feature added to your videos when you compare a bunch of things, like this video about different accessories. I watched the whole video but going back to see a particular item was kind of a pain.
For the head strap knob getting stuck, just push in on the front of the headset a little. That'll loosen it up enough to allow the knob to turn.

The Antlion Audio Mic is a genius VR accessory for not only VR content creators, but anyone who wants a brilliant mic. I stream VR games such as beat saber and use the normal quest mic which has its problems. I think it’s brilliant that you can get better alternatives such as wireless mics.
I also love how you show the difference between the two :)
As a content creator as well, finding a good audio quality mic, or mic/headset combo at an affordable price, is a challenge.

I got Kiwi knuckle straps, and really like them. It's so much better having them actually attached to your hands, but the trick where you loop the included wrist straps around the circle, I found too uncomfortable to even want to use at all.

The mag rifle stock looks unreal for immersion, I must have spent more time adjusting my arm spacing in games like Pavlov than the time I've spent actually firing at people and it would be perfect for something like Boneworks too giving you the ability to quickly switch from mounted to freehand is genius,

It was one of your ealier accessory vids that convinced me to get the kiwi design pulleys.I recomend to everyone now when they want longer play sessions and don't want to have to stop to recharge.
The Facial Interface definitely is my favorite by far out of all the items, other items are cool and all, but there is nothing you need more than a good facial interface. I almost fainted from the smell when I used the original interface after a few months. The Mic is pretty nice too and probably a second favorite, although the way I would end up having to use it, I would look like an angler fish lol

Honestly, I'm kinda eyeballin the headphones cuz the ones I have now sit on my ears instead of around them.
I’ve had the SteelSeries Arctic 5 for about a year now, not as expensive as the Pro, surprised he didn’t mention them, sound and mic quality are amazing, and super comfy.

@@Prootus All I can say about mine is it's the only one out of my three steelseries products that is buggy as ell.
i have some on ears and using them for longer than an hour really hurts the lobes.
Cheaper option and just as good get the AKG 240 MK2's can find em right around $60. But if you can find a pair of AKG's with a smaller Ohm rating as they will be louder! Unless you have a small preamp you could use that's not cumbersome!

My favorite item is definitely the facial interface replacement. I had no clue I could get a free one until now, so I'm quite grateful to you. This means I can play my quest again and not get a huge rash on my face. It's been months

The silicone face interface is the best here.
1 it’s silicone so just one wipe with a microfiber cloth it’s good as new.
2 is comfortable
3 it blocks out light from outside the headset
4 it looks cool
It's absolutely not necessary to wipe it with a microfiber cloth. :D

Another really good strap is the bobo Vr m2 pro, its around £40 and honestly, (I’ve played vr for years btw) the best headstrap I’ve used

The kiwi extendo grips are really good i have 3xl hands and adding that extra lenght really came in clutch

The Arctis pro is actually a great headset for standard gaming! I’ve had it since the beginning of 2020 and I’ve had 0 problems! The ability to take off the side plates and swap them out for custom designs is a great plus.
Also they are RGB, and everyone loves RGB.

I don’t know if anyone else has this but the default head strap wasn’t that bad for me i wore it for a year playing monkey tag all the time and the only issue i found was it being hard to tighten. It only hurt for like 1-2 days after like 3 months. The elite strap for some reason feels worse on the back of my head idk why but you never know just sit through the pain for like 2 days and its an actually okay headstrap.😊

Yeah, it's pretty good but after a little bit, it gets compressed which makes it looser and the headset also starts slipping from sweat. Honestly, I'm starting to regret not getting one of those silicone covers, especially since they're cheaper and imho would be better.
@@SoMNoMW those silicone covers irritate my skin more than the stock facial interface somehow the stock one is perfectly fine for me 0 redness or pain after a good 4 hours but the silicone one hurts my face and makes it red after under an hour

I got a quest 2 for Christmas and the new ones come with a silicone cover in the box that you put on and it's amazing. I don't know why they don't just change the cover but it works great!

Feel like the mic is a must have, me personally I want to share my experience with my friends through streaming, and if I’m standing my computer mic will probably have issues picking up my voice.
I know that its not ideal but you could always just use the oculus mic

On a separate note - My Quest 2 came with a silicone cover for the facial interface and it keeps sticking to my face.
The stock strap is perfectly comfortable imo. I like the adjustment features on other straps though.
I like the stock of the gun where you put your controllers in it looks funny and it looks cool
my favorite accesory is more of a neccesity with the replacement headstrap and face cover
