I have the quest 2 and bought the meta elite strap with the battery pack it is so uncomfortable and always hurts my head do not get it

Quest 2 strap is fine, I've had my quest for 8 months and I have no problem with it

Tbh don’t buy any 1 quest 2 controllers are terrible break so easily and I got my controller fixed bc the grip button broke the controller fell off my bed and it broke again and quest 3 your paying like $200 for the thing and the controllers have worst tracking then quest 2 controllers which don’t know why but the quest 3 graphics pretty good tbh I would get the quest 3 and then quest pro controllers

I got it to upgrade my PCVR VRChat experience from the Quest 2.

Correction of the title: VR is perfectly fine, Meta is cooked VR is in a perfect state and growing, but Meta and their headsets are utter unbearable shit (I've been using quest 2 for the last 3 years and counting), because the only thing I use them is for PCVR, and PCVR is the thing that works the worst (when it works, basically never) on Meta headsets. If you have a PC VR Ready, just get a Vive or an Index (second hand if you cannot get it new) and enjoy VR, if you want to be a beta tester without being paid and suffer unbearable troubleshooting more than playing, get a quest. Seriously, the man behind this YT Channel only drops videos when his fridge is empty, lying about the state of VR "Dying" when it's in the best state ever, and growing (maybe some games are not in their best state, I still think VRC was better Pre-EAC 2021, but well) Maybe a job at MCDonalds would be better for the industry than these type of videos imo. That said, Fuck Meta, PCVR is the goat.

My grandson and I just night question 2. We both just have laptops. What exactly is the cable for? To download games from the quest site into your headset? Or does the cable stay connected to the headset and computer so you don’t waste memory, and can just play games between the computer and headset? I’m sorry, electronic challenged here. I just want to have fun with my grandson

Can I donate money to you VR market ?

I don’t know if I should wait until the meta quest 3s releases or just buy the meta quest 2. And I’ve never really tried vr before , but I also have done a lot of research on the meta quest 3 I like some of the specs . Now besides that , mostly every store that I have visited or looked online ran out of meta quest 2s. This could possibly mean that the meta quest 3s will be announced soon.
