I've actually tried most of these accessories except the protube. I think some of these are influenced by what you play. Actually really like the handgun add-on. I find the quest 2 controller always feels like its "neutral" position is pointing at the ceiling. The added weight to the front brings it down a bit which I find helpful, I was actually going to add some weights to the front section to give it a neutral balance like an actual gun. Also it has a cool aesthetic when you're streaming. I agree with most of your other suggestion although I have yet to whack myself in the nuts with any VR accessory but maybe you have a really wide stance or actual coconuts for testicles.
It stands between the Elite battery strap and VRCover facial interface replacement. Both I just can't live without, I know the strap is pricey and prone to break but it is the most comfortable option imo

I've had my quest 2 for a couple of weeks now and the only thing I can say regarding accesories is that any strap (Be it, amazon, elite, etc) + a face cover are essential, anything else is based on a case to case basis, but those two are a must for basic use of the quest
I use the strap that comes with the quest 2 and works good for me lmao I guess is due my head shape
1 month later: I brought the kiwi elite strap because the stock strap started to get uncomfortable lol So I agree

i bought the elite strap like a month ago, still works perfectly and it's definitely the best headstrap as long as it doesn't break

my favorite is prob the vive deluxe audio, but it’s like 120$ including the adapters
I actually feel that if they can make a real weight handgun or rifle mold for the controllers would make it a S level thing for me. I'm in the military and not only would it benefit me with a better level of realism but it would also be a great training tool and it would add a unique challenge to the game.

The lenses for people with glasses is an S++ for me. The spacers let light in and often are not deep enough for most people. I love my lenses and they make gaming so much better. Glare off of the display on my glasses killed emersion but once you posted about those lenses, I saved up to get a set. Even had to go get a new prescription to find out what I needed. Totally worth it and the top item on this list.

You should still be able to get that for free from Oculus.
It needs a cloth cover otherwise it gets sweaty very quick.
Just got vr for my birthday and I've gotta say your channel has been very helpfull for preatty much everything.
My favourite is definitely your merch I can not wait until I can get it next week and also the head straps but mainly the merch!!!!
I would add to this list -- a light-weight battery pack fastened to the back of your headset (velcro or string or whatever you have) as a counter-weight to take pressure off your face has been tremendously helpful to reduce face fatigue has been awesome and much cheaper than something like the Frankenquest. Additional bonus -- it adds 6-7 hours of cordless gameplay :D.

I’ve had my oculus since Christmas and I’ve used it nearly everyday since then and it’s been perfect for my first vr, I would personally put the controller grips to a c or even and considering I used to have them and just gave them to my friend for they would get warm in my hands and start to expand and make my controllers slide out and become all wobbly- even with the Velcro strap which I had used to tighten it.
That's just a problem with having small hands, I just use tape to keep them tight since my hands are so small. I don't know what your problem with them is though, imo, they make the controllers much more comfortable, since they're made out of thick rubber, and the default quest 2 controllers don't fit in my hands very well.

I bought a elite strap, it snapped a few months after use, that "they offer replacements" is complete bs, I contacted support, they responded to my first message, then..just stopped responding, oculus support is the worst and is a nightmare to deal with and others have had complaints about oculus support and not responding after the first message.

I will have to try out the VR cover replacement face plate. Just got a quest 2 and it came with the amazon aftermarket head strap. I'm still getting used to it, but seems pretty alright to me.

In my opinion anti-fog lenses deserve an S rank, the amount of times I’ve tried to play beat saber and because of how much sweat is on my head it looks like a cloud just entered my headset, so these lenses help a lot
if you have a vrcover that effect is minimised, as there's vents
I can't find anti fog lenses anywhere... Ive been using a plastic safe defog spray which works well, but is a pain to apply since it has to dry and get wiped off with a microfiber cloth before each play session. Do you have a link to lenses which prevent fogging? That would be way more convenient than defogging every time I want to play...
The Kiwi grips are by far my absolute favorite. I like to drop my controllers if i need to do something else or adjust my headstrap. If im playing Thrill of the Fight or Creed RTG, i dont have to worry about throwing my controllers to space. My second favorite is the gun stock although I havent been able to purchase one yet.

Just got my quest two earlier this month for my birthday. I haven’t gotten any accessories yet except the face cover, which was definitely a life changer!
My first vr headset is a psvr and the wire broke because I was twisting to much but I'm getting a oculus quest 2 at the end of this month and I am excited
I almost got caught in the strap of the pistol controller thing so glad your video saved me
I haven't gotten mine yet, but it's worth pointing out that VR Wave also has a faceplate and pad replacement available now.
The cool thing about theirs is that it gives more space for the nose, which can be very nice for people with a nose shape that rubs against the lenses of the Quest 2, both with or without the VR Wave lenses installed.

Thanks for this list, had no idea about the prescription lenses, I normally play with contacts but sometimes I need a break from wearing them and I don't like using VR with glasses, as soon as I find out my prescription i'll be getting a set with your code, cheers!
The first two accessories I purchased for my Quest 2 were the VR Cover facial interface kit and a replacement head strap. I use the BOBOVR M2 halo strap, it's extremely light weight and comfortable, just be aware that it won't fit in the official Quest 2 carrying case. IMHO both of these are S tier accessories.
my favourite accesory was the hand straps. That was the first one I got and it just helped with gameplay so much and I liked it so much.

I'm still waiting for my VR Wave Rx lenses, but everything I've seen on the lenses makes me that much more excited. SSSSSSSS tier for sure.

I got the BOBOVR strap, and it's just perfect. I apparently have a schoolbus-sized cranium, so the regular strap was too tight even adjusted as loose as possible.
I'd suggest the KIWI headstrap. Just like the elite but with leather cushions and a top leather strap. It can also ajust up and down and the side straps are bendable so it'd be hard to break.
I think that AMVR strap looked really good, and I'm probably going to buy it now because I need a substitute for the flimsy piece of fabric digging into my head on the original Quest 2.
i would put the pistols in A tear because i have it and like you said it puts weight on your controller witch somehow makes my aim better
Agree with all of these just bought a be cover for my quest 2 and it has been an insane difference ever since the old cover was making my face break out because it was holding the sweat and bacteria inside of it

My S tier thing is the vr cover replacement that oculus sent me. It’s so comfy and now I can play for much longer. Also you convinced me to finally buy a quest 2 and it’s one of the best purchases I’ve made in a long time.
My s tier accessory is the jank pack a battery pack with napkins as a pillow and attached to the base headstrap with rubber bands.

I’ve had the quest 2 for maybe a month now and i got the vr cover controller covers and personally i really like them so far. I like being able to let go of my controllers and just kinda move my hand around and relax them for a bit during long sessions of population one and it’s also nice for when you want to throw something like In echo vr. Just wanted to help anyone thinking about getting them!

The VR Cover facial interface and AMVR head strap are pretty S-Tier for me, I currently have it default but am planning to buy new ones soon
My S tier item on this list HAS to be the amazon headstrap because im too broke for the elite strap, and the default strap gives me headaches.
Sorry if this is out of topic but how are you able to do that video where you're in the middle of the vr world? Is it specific to a certain vr set?
I think that what deserves to be at the top should be the gun attatchment for the quest 2 controllers. It seems like a lot of effort would have been put into manufacturing it for such a low price. The gun attatchment is something I have myself and it personally does help with my aim in gun club and pavlov. Also love your videos :)
id put the elite strap at an s because it is so comfortable now i did just recently get it so i dont know about the breaking yet but they give replacements out so thats better than nothing and it is way easier to put on than the stock strap
I’ve been using that silicon cover and my sister doesn’t like it so it’s just easy to remove and helps not to give me acne so yeah it’s pretty good
I got one of the 3rd party cheap £25 halo head straps.
Best purchase by far, completely removed pressure on the face and made laying RE4 VR in longer 2-3 hour sessions relatively comfortable.
It also made it easy to put some velcro tape on the front headband and the same on a small USB power bank so I've got a detachable rechargeable power supply now.
If say the best on this list is the become hip hoodie I’m gonna buy it now. My favourite is actually the be wave lenses honestly they seem like a game changer honestly saving to get them
Ok I always the thought the default head strap was alright for me it was perfectly fine but I tried an elite strap recently and I HAVE NEVER FELT SO SUPERIOR. The comfort is amazing
