Two issues since I actually own a Tank 200. You do not have to remove/loosen the small screws to take the seat bucket out, just the 4 10mm bolts. AND that wasn't the oil drain. That is the filter screen. The screen comes out with the spring. The oil drain is on the other side of the motor. I personally will change the oil every 500-600 miles and the gear oil every other oil change to inspect what the engine is doing (metal particles and dust). Don't forget to check the electrical connections too. The two wires that connect to the coil were loose on my Tank and came off while riding. Of course the scooter died, but luckily I had a similar issue with a BMS scooter so I was back on the road quickly.
Thanks for that, I just got the same scooter and working to build it, almost done. You sound like you might be able to answer a question for me, if you could. Do you know the size of the front axle nut? Trying to finish my build and missing the bolt. Thanks again.
So I need to loosen and allow the oil to drain out the oil?
I meant to write "loosen both of them" to allow the oil to drain?
2 wires? Building it in a couple hours.
You guys are amazing and always appreciate these videos😃
Thank you
Hats off to you guys excellent tips
Thank you
What would you torque the wheel nuts at on the deluxe version with 13 inch tires? The manual doesn’t say.
Thanks man!! 🙏🙏🙏
One of my friends recommended that I change the gy6 engine oil when I just bought the motorcycle and use conventional oil, not synthetic 10w-30 10w-40, for the first 500 miles to help the engine break in, an then use synthetic oil is this true?
Thanks for the investment.
Thanks for sharing
Welcome
Thanks for the time and attention to detail here! I have a question - if anyone can help. Can someone share the size of the front axle nut? Trying to finish my build and missing the bolt. Thanks!
Tank 200 Front Axle: 14mm and 12mm
@@ScooterATVSales thanks, so 14mm front axle nut?
@@thehebrewmessiahcom8164 yes, 14mm/12mm
Do you know if there is a way to brighten the digital Speedometer. I own this same bike but I’m having trouble figuring this out.
Appears to be a standard set brightness on the cluster
Is it good on fuel economy? You said carburetor and efi ?
Does it have both? I can see efi for maybe idle system and carburetor for wide open highway.
This model is Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) no Carburetor
Is it better to get the tank with the disk rear brake or is the rear drum acceptable on the clash?
Very subjective. Rear disc brakes are great to have. Matter of choice
Is the rear brake pads part number i need change mine i want to make sure if i order in ebay or amazon is correct parts
Parts are based on brand and model. Please contact the dealer you made the purchase with.
My EFI 168cc scooter engine when it’s running it smells like it’s running rich and it will stall out and sometimes smoke for a little bit is there a cause for that
What year? What Brand? What Model? How many miles? Have you changed the oil?
Don't run Premium 93 gas - American formula is different than Asia. 89 oct max, you"ll notice the difference
Dang, if I'm having to check all of this at 500 miles, that means it has inferior parts and assembly. The oil change, I can understand. There is a lot of truth to "you get what you pay for". It does look good, lots of storage, etc. But, I would not want the headache of it breaking down on me. You will pay for a Yamaha or a Honda but they are both very high quality.
Generally, you get what you pay for. Most Chinese brands offer great value for the money.
Am close to pulling the trigger @ 161 Ps or TXPS for a delivery - black. I like your personality better. Price and delivery time?

It's not 200cc , its a 169cc.

Appreciate the feedback

I don’t know where to connected the clear tube it runs but it just hangs out
N do I remove the plastic things behind the air filter
4:04 that clear tube
4:42 I got 2 do I just remove one behind the filter
The clear tube is part of the emissions. It generally is connected to the airbox assembly or the EPA vapor chamber
@@ScooterATVSales I’ll have to connect it it be dying Quick sum times Thx man
Is this scooter actually 200cc or 168cc like the others that claim to be 200cc?
168cc EFI
@@ScooterATVSales Is it the Lifan engine?
Some engines have the Lifan, Linhai branding, I have not noticed this on the Tank 200. The Engine is based on the GY6 family design. With scheduled maintenance, this engine has shown to be a reliable motor @@j.a.3993
Hello i just bought thise scoote and when i press gas the speed sont moveve evrytbing else on the odameter works but that. Whant can be wrong
I need more details. Did you buy the scooter used? How many miles?
To me no room for legs , and tires to small . Not interested . My 50cc bigger body is slowet , but much more room for legs and bigger tires as well.
Appreciate the feedback
These scooters ate troublesome junk
Sorry you feel that way. The quality for the value is amazing, with that, Vitacci USA cannot keep up with dealer and customer demand.
Not for the money. Infact, the internal parts are recipiricle with many many other asian scooters. Wouldn't be mass produced if they were junk
@@markmcarthy596 Over 15 years exp selling Chinese scooters . Everything distributed through Cougar Cycle is JUNK . Worst crap I ever sold . Dealers can't get warranty parts from Cougar or any support. The absolute poorest built and crap parts . .
Good job!
Thank you
How do I tighten the loose steering.. it's brand new
Remove the face panel. Giving you access to the steering stem. There is a bolt/nut located upper neck that you can tighten. You can take it to your local dealer to have this done
I did that.. it did tighten.. thank you
