This was not only a brilliant piece of comedy writing, with all of the hard Cs, but the delivery perfectly mimicked Webb's writing style. Short, staccato exchanges with his best partner IMO, the late great Harry Morgan, on TV. But you can go back on YT and hear the original Dragnets, that were on radio only from the early 50s. The same exact writing styles and deliveries that we just enjoyed here with Johnny, who delivered a flawless performance.
    Webb was a genius.
