I have such fond memories of watching these entertainment giants when I was a kid. From Sinatra and Rickles to Dean Martin, Ernest Borgnine, Jack Klugman, Johnny Carson, etc. Look at the talent on that one episode of the Tonight Show. I don't recognize many (most?) of the people who show up on the tonight show these days. If a network re-ran Carson at 10:30 now, I'd watch him every night.

One guest wrote a book about being the son of a New York Godfather . Its rumored the Godfather book was based on HIS family . The son went to Vietnam instead of North Korea . Anyway ,the Godfather went to Vegas for business AND to see Frank Sinatra . The Godfather shows up early and Rickles was opening for him . As the Godfather gets to his reaerved seats Rickles does some comedy shtick about the Godfather and his entourage of goons . After Rickles finished the Godfather tells his son " I want him dead " . True story
