- This is about the socialization of new birds. Don't forget the health check before you mix new birds. It is important to get used to each other with time. Until the first weeks they need separate cages! Don't hurry! Patience is the greatest discipline of each bird holder :-)
Here you can see that the new birds are watched curious without aggression. Can you hear the sounds of friendly greeting?

Many thanks to my beautiful actors Charlie (*2005) an Sammy (*2001) and the new ones Henry (*2004) and Christo (*2002)

Aw what gorgeous little boys! My Linnie girls would love to play with them! I want to get another Linnie but my baby is due in a few weeks so my Linnie's will have their wings too full! They sit on my belly patiently waiting for the baby to kick :)
hehehe, funny captions. I can smell Jealousy. When I get my linnie, I hope my parrotlet will get along with the new linnie.
awwwwww! First meeting looks good.....hope it works out when they can meet beak to beak!!
Hi Kalyn, both species look very similar, but the characters of Linnies and Budgies are very different. Linnies are quiet birds, their temperament is low. Budgies, however, are always prattling on *gg* Linnies need special food, they prefer fruits and vegetables. The best decision is to own either a pair of Linnies or a pair of Budgies :-)
Grean feathered greetings from Germany, Monika
