- May I introduce you to Henry? I think, this little bird is a natural talent for noise:-)))
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Many thanks to my beautiful actor Henry (*2004)
Directed by Monika
Produced in Germany in Juli 2012
At least now I know how they sound like when I get my linnie soon (4 or 5 wks from now). Sounds like a cute fire alarm, beep, beep, beep.
Mine doesnt make that sound. He is very calm :)
Don't get one single! It's torture. These are social animals.
I have a pet linnie and whenever he listens to linnie noises,he scuacks along lol😋
"Music for animals" from Joe Bodemann (he is a pet doctor)
It really works to calm my green monsters ... except of Henry ... ha ha!
Played this to our linnie and it drives her crazy! Would love to know what Henry is saying!
Calling for a friend in his cage 😢
our poor little linnie always gets excited when hearing this little bird. Unfortunately he is alone at the moment, we still have to wait for the 2nd one.
Get a 2nd one. I'm getting one soon. My parrotlet doesn't play and so I feel sorry for him when he's alone at home. That's why I'm getting a linnie so that he won't get bored.
Singing? Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees, my dear! Henry is very happy about your comment. In this moment he startet the second verse ... ha ha ...
Adorable linnie noises.
Wants his friends nearby…then they call like this
Thank you. :) i will try iy out and see if my birds will like it :)
Is the higher-pitched sharp/short call their contact call? (e.g. at 1:29-1:34)
My Linnie makes this noise aswell, what do you think there doing. My Charlie is usually shouting for my son. I thought it was just him that made this noise.
what was that music played in the background? it seems so calm.
sounded like good singing to me! lol
Is it loud my dad is a senstive sleeper lol.
I luv my his name is Skittles lol
I'm going to name my linnie soon, also skittles. I have a parrotlet now and I named him Rainbow. So when I have the two of them together, it's Skittles Rainbow. hehehehe.
My plans of getting a parrot has been... well... changed. As you really can't own one when you are driving a truck. It's really annoying because I really love birds... Oh well, I think it's true when they say you can't have everything. :l
I'm just curious, do you own a parrot now?
I heard so many quiet linnies they have to be in pairs at least, for them being alone is cruel and they desperately start calling in the hope to find another one of their kind
They are not quiet species by any means and can get quite annoying. I wonder if males are noisier than females, my lutino female is young and I have not had her long enough to see if she is loud. A friend had a green male that was louder than your male, it was this constant ear piercing chirp. I think she rehomed him because she lived in an apartment and they had told her good apartment birds LOL
Screaming can be worked through... but easy way is rehoming. That is why 85% of parrots in US is rehomed... evil people... adopt, not buy!!!!
But certainly due to the fact that he was alone, so constantly calling for a potential partner, parrots are flock animals, so one should get a pair at least!
