    I shopped literally every Tractor brand, from all mfg's in this size class of tractor, in the end I had boiled it down to five tractors. Kubota 7060, Massey 4707, Branson 7845, LS MT 573, and the New Holland Powerstar 75... At the end of the day I went with the Powerstar 75, I couldn't find anything that compared to it in terms of overall cab design, the ergonomics of the Powerstar are 2nd too none. The cab is so quiet, heat and air conditioning never fails to keep me comfortable, and the visibility out of the cab is unmatched. The next closest would have to be the Massey 4707, a very nice tractor as well, but there is just something about the Powerstar that won the battle. After two years and 700hrs, I have zero regrets, the tractor still makes me smile every time I operate it...

    I’m in AUS and I’ve had my Power-star 4.75 for a little over a year. The work master model wasn’t available at the time and I nearly waited for it as it’s a little cheaper. I spent a long time comparing models and manufacturers. A year later, I’m SO glad I opted for the Power-Star. Every additional feature it has, I’ve needed or been glad to have.
    Great point about the gear ranges, I had not thought of that.

    I was in the market last fall, shortly after the announcement of the M4D-071 but didn't want to wait for 6-months to get specs and pricing. In the end, I saw the Powerstar 75 as a comparable tractor to the yet-to-be-released M4D-071 and bought a new one. I absolutely love it!
    When pricing came out for the M4D it was close enough for me to stand by my decision 100%.

    I want the extra ranges not the extra gear it helps when you are really working the machine. I have 4 ranges LL, L, M, H and 1, 2, 3, 4, gears, so 16 forward and reverse. That creeper gear will pull the frame out from under a full size pickup if you are not careful 😉.

    Hey Neal I drive a New Holland TN70DA at work, I really REALLY love this tractor as it has a lot of power, it’s beer reliable, and most importiantly I love the cab and control layout.. it’s very comfortable to me. We are trading this tractor in this summer and I was told we would want the workmaster 75 by my dealer but when I got up in the workmaster 75 it just seemed so much different to me, I didn’t really enjoy the cab layout much as the loader joystick was way too far forward for my liking and some of the other controls I wasn’t real impressed with how they were laid out.. also the workmaster 75 seems like a much bigger tractor with the cab being not only taller but wider as well.. do you think I would be better matched for trading out TN70D with a boomer instead? I’m just looking for something very comparable to what we have now as I don’t like change 😂
    Let me know I would really appreciate what you have to say thanks!

      You would want the power star. The workmaster is less tractor, like Deere E series and other cheaper imports. PowsrStar 75 is more like the TN..

    • @BiffsEquipment
      @BiffsEquipment Před 4 lety

      @@MessicksEquip Awesome Neal thankyou very much. Yah the workmaster 75 felt like less tractor, and i wasnt really impressed with some things on it compared to the way the TN we have is built. If i could have the choice to trade it in for another brand new TN i would because i feel that it is such a well built and designed tractor. The TN is just a tank and it has been super reliable. I will talk to my dealer about the powerstar thankyou!
      Seems like everytime New Holland builds a perfect tractor they go changing everything about it in the newer models and it drives me nuts! haha.

      @@MessicksEquip Well NH has a higher HP tractor 5500turbo which has a turbo charger and the tractor is almost similar in dimensions so it turbo might fit.
