Hi Morlu! Thank you and thank you for watching my videos, I am glad you find them helpful. The process from the US is slightly different so bare that in mind but the majority (getting all of the supporting documents together) is the same. I think the applicant has to send their passport as opposed to take it to the biometrics appointment and I think the address you send the supporting documents is different but I think the directions are a lot more clear for you guys than it was for us. I wanna ask that couple of days before I’ve done with my biometrics, now how long I’ve to wait to wait for my visa?? Is it takes fixed 3 months to get visa or any chances to get response earlier than this duration ??
Hi Ameema, thanks for watching. Aww thank you, yes we are very lucky! The majority of people get there visa in 3 months. Some are lucky and get it before, some are not so lucky and get it after. You could have applied using a priority which would have tried to get the visa decision made in 1 month. It is an extra cost but needed to have been done when you started the application. Congratulations on visa approval. Can you tell me after your husband arrived how many days it took to get Biometric residentt permit and can you travel on your Biometric Resident permit?
Hi, thank you :) and thank you for watching my videos. So my husband got his visa on the 22nd of Feb and came to the uk on the 11th of March and then we collected his biometrics card on 13th. So it we collected it a couple of days after his arrival but about 3 weeks after the visa approval. Applicants can travel to most countries on a Schengen visa which you’ll need to apply for. They will require your marriage certificate and the sponsors passport for the application. Countries that don’t fall under the Schengen areas require individual visas per country. Hope that answers your question. Good luck with your application :)

I found your videos extremely helpful and easy to follow.... i am about to start this process and need to know how do you arrange for an environmental health report surveyour to come out to your house. would it be wise to do it before the application as im living with parents and few siblings and dreas rejection in case of over crowding (hopefully not- i have my own room!) plus did you hire a solicitor?

I paid priority fee of around £600 but have been told that now days they are making decision in 6/7 weeks anyway

Ah right, it was definitely worth it! Oh no, it’s not everyone that get their decision in 6/7 weeks, that’s just the very lucky ones. A lot of my viewers are still waiting the full 3 months to get theirs and a month for those paying priority! Hope she has a safe flight and get her wrapped up warm! It’ll be a shock to the system coming here at this time of year lol

Hiya.. I'm planning on paying priority for when I apply for my husband in a couple months, however, I'm not too sure on how I should go around this. Would you be able to share some advice please. Would my husband need to pay the priority fee at the Nirvana Inn when he goes in to pay for the fees? Would he need to say that he wants a priority application?

Hi Ruks I must comment your videos is a helpful one. but tell me do you have to get a ticket before you apply for a visa or you can apply for the visa first and when it has been approved they you buy the ticket.
Hi, aww thank you for watching them. I’m glad you are finding them helpful. No, don’t get your tickets until you get a decision. You can never be sure if you will be given the visa in time for when you book your ticket or if you will even get it. So wait until it’s been approved and then you can buy your ticket. hi just wanted to ask when u filled the online application how long after did u get a date for the appointment was it the same month or week.as my cousins tb test expires at the end of the month but we still have not filled her application online so just getting abit worried now that when we do what if we get a date for next month and that means the tb test will be invalid by then.could do u please answer this for me so i have somewhat idea

Hi Kim, thank you so much for watching my video. I hope they were happy tears hehe. So you’re studying in Albania, right? Is your boyfriend working in the UK or is he a student as well? If he’s working and you want to get married in the UK then yes I would suggest looking at getting a fiancé visa. The application process is almost the same as the process for a spouse visa. Yes we married in Bangladesh and had the translation done there as well so it didn’t need to be made official here. I would think it is compulsory as the whole reason you are applying for this visa is to prove that you are married and therefore have a right to be together. I can imagine it would really hinder the genuineness off your application if your didn’t provide any

How long did u waited until ur husband flight arrived once he arrived did u have to wait for an hour and or did they ask any questions did it take time
Hi Rawinder, thank you for watching my videos! My husband’s flight was delayed unfortunately so it did take longer than it was supposed to but usually it takes about an hour to get through immigration after the flight has landed. Some officers do ask questions, my husband was asked (I have made a video on that called immigration questions) but most don’t ask too many, it’s just that the queue is huge! Hi, thank you for watching my video! The original passport needs to be handed in at the biometrics appointment, a copy should be kept with the applicant and a copy should also be submitted with the supporting documents. Hope this helps answer your question, good luck with your application :)
Ruks&Fam when I got stamps from biometrics. I have to send all that document biometrics to my husband? Included my orginial passport and he will collect all things to send to shelfied office right? Thanks alot
Hi Linh, you can wither submit your supporting documents at the biometrics appointment, they will keep your passport there. Or you can just submit your passport and send all your documents to your husband who will submit the documents at his nearest visa application centre in the UK.
Hi sis, can you please let me know what should spouse visa person Write in uk border agency landing card where it is says on the card ( length of staying in the uk?) Do they have to put 1 month, 2.5 years or permanent?
Hi arohi, thank you for watching! my husband said he didn’t put anything in that section but I would suggest you put either 30 months,
2.5 years of permanent. Put the same as you put on you Appendix 2 form. Hope this helps. Good luck with your application :)

Hi, I am not too sure of this sorry. I think it is a good idea to look at the rules on the airline website. If you will be carrying a large amount of money, I think it is a good idea to declare it before you travel and have proof of where the money came from.
@@RuksanaAhmed no no I am not carrying I just asking because I am thinking that 5000 to 10000 is enough if there are no requirement of money in the airport rest all my husband will manage ...I thought your hubby came to London so you know if there are any other formality which use money .....anyways thanks again ...
@@monikafarenjiya9242 Yes, he travelled to Heathrow airport but he didn't bring any cash with him. Just a couple of £s that I left for him for when he travels in case he wanted to buy food and he also carried a couple of taka (Bangladeshi money) in case he needed that at the airport their but all other money he left back there in his bank account for when we travel there. He has started fresh here. There will be requirements on the airline website so you should have a look at those.

Wednesday am submitting. Documents sent via DHL and they are already in London, she only sent them yesterday. The application form which she needs to sign is going to be scanned and sent once i've submitted the form online. Am so nervous lol. You enjoying having your hubby over ? stress free at last I bet
Ahhh so close. Trust me, you'll be glad to have got them in lol. DHL are good, my husband always used them to send me documents. Yeah, it's so nice to finally have my very own partner in crime lol. I'm already starting to stress about the visa extension haha. Seems like I enjoy the stressful life lol
I got the documents in literally 24 hours !! amazed how quick they came. Cost her £30 or so to send a few pieces of A4 paper but it's worth it. I can't wait for my partner in crime to arrive, may go into hibernation until I've had enough hahaha. Omg when do you have to apply for visa extension ? isn't it like a few years away ?? Yikes.
Wow, definitely worth every penny. Haha, yeah I think it's from 6 months before the current visa expires but I want to be prepared and figure out what documents I need to gather and when I need to start gathering them from. Once I know for sure, I think I will be able to rest better lol

ASSALAMUALIKUM SISTER. where do we go to collect the BRP Card in London? My wife only has her passport but she did provide biometrics in Heathrow, however she is unsure about where we can go to collect it.
Walaikumusalam. Your BRP card can be collected from a post office close to you (not all post offices do them so it may not be your local one). You choose the location online at the end of your online application. That location will also be on the printed application.

Ruks&Fam just picked up the card from the post office at Canary wharf behind the tube station Cabot Square.
That's brilliant :). Make sure your wife carries it around with her all the time. You can finally chill for a bit now. You can slowly start registering her to things like the doctors, dentist, get her a NI card, a bank account, provisional license, etc.

Your so lucky your partner got his visa. It’s so hard i got married in 2016 and had a baby in 2017 and since then getting a job and qualifying for the £18,600 is really hard as childcare becomes really difficult due to timing and not having my family near me to help.

Hi Jasmeen, yes we are really lucky that it happened so quickly for us but we were fortunate enough to plan it all before we got married. Forward planning really has helped us. I understand you are in a very tough position and I tried to help you with some advice as much as I can on one of your other comments so I hope you find that and it helps you find a way round it!

Hi, thank you for watching my video! I have provided a time line of my application on my update video called “we got our visa” (linked in the subscription box). We submitted our online application on 24/11/17, had the biometrics appointment on 27/11/17 and submitted the documents on 6/12/17. We got the visa on 22/2/17. Hope this answers your question. Your wife needs to collect 6 months of wages. You can start preparing everything from now, you can even submit your application and your biometrics before month 6 but as long as your last wage slip and bank statement come before you submit your supporting documents then that's fine. Your wife should continue to earn £18,600 in case you have to appeal and until you are here and start working. I think then both incomes can be taken into consideration.

No worries! Try not to be too disheartened if it doesn’t happen but then. Sometimes they can take longer (but hopefully it will happen sooner). I know it’s hard but try not to stress too much

You chose a UK post office to collect it from when you complete the online application form. Then you collect it from that post office when your spouse arrives

Hi I watched all ur videos, I also applied my spouse visa application in April in India they said settlement cases process time is 60 days. And it's already passed. My lawyer put the application category... Settlement visa is it correct for spouse visa application?

Hi Aman, thank you for watching my videos! Sorry to hear that your visa is taking a bit longer than the expected time. I wouldn't worry too much about the email they have sent. They usually send this email out to people when they are running behind and taking longer than they should to make a decision to allow them more time and prevent you from contacting them to ask what's happening. I know many people who have received the same email and still received their visa so try not to stress. Keep me updated with what happens, hope you find out soon and best of luck! :)
@@RuksanaAhmed Thank u for your reply and wishes , i found later that in Appendix 2 form solicitor filled my wrong religious marriage date by mistake . But on our wedding card n marriage certificate it is correct so i am worried and now solicitor said she send the letter to home office stating that but mistake they filled this date by actual date is this one .. which is on cards and certificate.
