wasnt there a talisman that increased defences? The last test I can see it survi-able with dragon scale, this one talisman I cant recall the name,heavier armor and indomitable

Instant death. etc. You cannot survive any hit that would bring you to 0. If your hp is above 1 after their dmg however, you get the heal.
To be fair I think some of the other builds had high Vigor as well. But the Banished Knight Armor set has much better defense stats that what the others were wearing.
I got absolutely slammed by an invader with a giant hunt, upon him seeing me survive, he jumped off the nearest cliff, mans was simply inspecting my Vigor. Fair play
This is like the opposite of what I started doing, which was making a character named Fashion Police, and I invade people and inspect their fashion and either leave presents or point down and sever. No weapons, if people kill me they automatically fail (and obviously get no presents). Seeing how people react to these non-standard encounters is incredibly interesting.
I think I would fail your inspection. It's my first playthrough, I'm wearing a set of Banished Knight armor, including the duck feet lol it's the best defense available to me for now, but it is not fashionsouls.

You did 2134 damage to one guy which means he had 60 vigor, erdtrees favor +2 and crimson amber +2 and he still died, so I guess the real moral of the story is wear better armor
@@Sharptsa you can tank that with black flames protection, golden vow, decently strong gear and the right talisman loudout, but otherwise yeah armor alone doesn’t cut it

I invaded a guy called vigor exam the other day, kneeled down for him to hit me and he just didn’t lol, bonked him with my staff and he started panic rolling and trying to kill me with fingerprint shield pokes
The guys hammer deals 6000 damage in one strong attack hit. Meaning your Vigor should be twice that number to survive that hit or die to the no next blow
I’m happy that most of them were good sports about it If I invaded/got invaded by someone with the name Vigor Exam/Check, I’d just accept my fate for the bit

40something vigor + bullgoat, +runic shield + Dragon Creast shield, maybe somethings that give you more hp. Then you will survive because of the sheer amount of damage reduction and hp you have. So this is less of a vigor test and more like a vigor and dmg reduction check
@@zaqataq5146 At meta pvp level, 125, 60 vigor is a must and every good players have this much vigor (maybe 50 vigor on some casters builds). It might sound "ridiculous" but it's the best softcap to reach or you will get one shot by most ash of war.

Between all the stat boosting items and how busted Ashes of War can get, you can get actually pretty damn far without hitting major softcaps for offense stats.

People talked about 150 as the level to PvP as it’s pretty hard not to be above 125 when you finish the game comfortably unless you specifically have built your character around PvP. 125 was the old meta level for Dark Souls when you only got to like level 85 playing through the game normally.

I do feel like this is a bit unfair because even with 60 you can't pass this this should be a check to see if you have 60 vig or higher. I would also like to see iterations of this at lower levels.

Huh, my build could survive the vigor check, I have 70 vigor and I normally run the Bull-goat set with a dragon greatshield talisman, ritual shield talisman, +2 erdtrees favor, and a +2 crimson amber medallion, with radahns rune. Top off with a boiled crab, rallying standard, and black flames protection, and yeah, that can tank
