That's 2002 - 2008 !!! 6 years Kobe was playing with nobodys (starting lineup: smush parker, kawmi brown, radmanovic, mihm etc) If you never heard of these guys, you are fine, cause these guys never played at an NBA level after leaving the Lakers! Most of them even failed to play basketball in Europe!!! So, to sum up. If in those 6 years, Kobe had the help Lebron James had from both his team and the entire eastern conference (massive trades in the middle of the year, all stars jumping in to make super teams with him, management bending the knee etc.), he would have had a much better career than both MJ and Lebron FOR SURE!!!
