Its a shame this guy doesn't have a million subscribers. So good with every single one of his videos!
Thanks really appreciate it 👊
totally agree with you
I don't normally post on CZcams. But this guy is one concise reviewers on youtube, keep it up.
@@MrAmazinj thanks really appreciate it 👊
What a great, informative review. I want to get this device and my decision was based in large part on the quality review made here. I'm a new subscriber after just discovering you. Thanks and keep up the good work! Much appreciated.
Thanks really appreciate it 👊
What is HP doing? I love that 16:10, been spoiled by that. I hope you also get the Surface (Service) Laptop 3 in the studio. Great on the script, it is always concise and similar test methods that make your reviews outstanding!
Very impressive machine. And finally a good camera. We've seen worst in laptops that are in the same price range of this laptop.
Well done! Liked/shared as always! The Webcam looks and sounds very decent!
Great review thanks. I’m looking to get a new main device for university to write essays read multiple pdfs, annotate, note making with a pen etc. What would be a better device and what would have the better pen as I also draw and photoshop images, this with Dell’s pen or the Surface Pro 6 or 7? Many thanks
Totally agree with the users that encourage Andrew continue his great work! He is the only one that deserved my all nights spending on watching suggesions and reviews, as I am looking forward to buying a new laptop and all his videos are professionally thought and presented. This helps me much in taking a decision, as all aspects are covered - tech hardware, impressions, user experience and benchmarks. He speaks only the things worth speaking of! Great job, Andrew!!! Keep it on, man! Signing off, Mihai here. (my name pronounciation is like you say english words "Me" "Hi" and its romanian equivalent for Michael).
Thanks really appreciate it!
Thanks for the review, great work as always. Can you please also review the new XPS 13 with the six core Comet Lake i7 10710u. I'm very curious to know how it compares to this Ice Lake i7 1065G7 laptop.
Great review! Thanks
I would like to see how comet lakes do its job on thinkpad x1 carbon, especially the 6c i7. How’s the battery and how’s the performance, thank you.
Great review! So detailing and very professional n any aspect. Can i ask you what is maximum SD card upgrade? I mean this laptop support a 1TB micro SD or maximum is 512 GB? Thank you for your time. Kind regards from Ireland...
Which one do you think it’s better - the dell XP’s 13 or the hp Spectre X360 oled
Your reviews rock !
Thanks man, very explicit review
full of cuss words?
Hello! Could you tell if the TDP can be above 25w in long time workload? Thanks.
can you give some solid numbers in terms of thermal throttling? You seem to say they will thermal throttle under heavy load for all thin and lights, but is any one of them slightly better?
Great video man. Well done. I always watch your vidoes. I bough a hp spectre that u reviewed and it's amazing for my video editing for my channel
I really hoped to see the c940 also a comparison with the XPS could be nice
Which should I go for this or the c940 14inch ?
I play games like Gta 5 like sometimes and use lot of excel.
Why doesnt many reviwers test battery life on full or near full brightness on a typical well lite working enviornment? 150nits.... Ok in a very dark room but on a bright office or even outdoors?
Cant decide xps 13 2in1 or the laptop, the laptop has i7-10710U and this has i7-1065G7, but the 2in1 has iris plus graphics and laptop only intel UHD graphics
Great review as always! Will you be doing reviews on the new yoga c940 or yoga s740?
Yes planning on it
best reviewer in CZcams ! thanks Andrew!
Thanks really appreciate it 👊
Why does no one include (Excel-)Spreadsheet-Performance in those benchmarks? A sophisticated spreadsheet IS quite CPU-demanding and a lot of people are working with them at work every day.
TheStenius man take you accounting, CPA failing behind out of here.
True. Need to show how AI and ML computations as well. All these videos only show video creators tools to creat new videos. Unfortunately, I think that’s the extent of many CZcamsr skills. It’s almost like a CZcamsr circular reference.
Thank you very much
Can you compare it with HP specter 2in1 13inch.?
so helpful 🙏
As web cams go, I agree with you. You didn't look twitchy or fuzzy, imo, and the sound seemed better to me. If I knew I would require a decent camera for video chats, etc., I would definitely look at this laptop. And, it's a good looking laptop too. The shallow key travel could deter me because I do a lot of typing. All in all, your review could almost attract me to this particular device!
Where did you get the wall plug adapter mine doesn’t have it
hi, how can you turn on the backlight for the xps 13 7390 2 in 1?
Did the 7390 xps 13 clamshell version have the same battery performance with the 7390 2-in-1??
Great vid! Why would any companies bother using i7U series, when they can use the G series which are probs better with battery due to 10nm.
Great review! Im on the hunt for a new laptop and im trying to decide on this one or the 2019 macbook pro. This one is looking really good.
@Daniel Phung i ended up getting the Lenovo Yoga C940. I love it so far!
Great review, I hope the next one is thicker with 2 usba, and upgradable memory and ssd, and full size sd card.
Even Microsoft now allows upgrading the ssd, hopefully ram will follow and a full sd card slot.
Never the less it is a great machine, with a few caveats.
@Andrew Marc David
Do you have a TPM chip on your device?
It's amazing the performance that can be crammed into these thin and light form factors
Is the ram and SSD upgradable?
Dell should add the g4 or g7 graphics to the lower end models or just add like a millimeter or two and shove in a 10w mx250, bigger battery and replaceable ssd
hp 15 inch touch envy with oled and 10th gen and mx 250 review
Got the new 4k version very slow overheats and is junk got two same issues also charger gets up to 200 degrees they need to work out the kinks on the chipset
Great review! The camera quality looks fantastic to me!
Looking forward for a comparison with the upcoming HP Elite Dragonfly 👍🏻
Dragonfly born gone...with the old Intel series
Pause the video at 5:22 and check out the gaps between the front edge of the palm rest and the bottom of the chassis, especially right in the middle. Good grief that's crap!
links to software keys does not work
Great video, whats the new Wifi 6 chip like ?
No issues with Wifi 6 working well.
Is the battery fixed?
Did your spacebar feel mushy? I've seen that on a demo unit and was wondering if it was just because it was a demo unit.
Not at all spacebar feels fine on my unit
I'm deliberating between the Lenovo C940 14'' (i7-1065G7, 16GB LPDDR4X), the New Dell Inspiron 15 7000 2 n 1 (i7-10510U, 2x8GB DDR4 2666MHz) and the New XPS 13 2 n 1 (i7-1065G7, 32GB 3733MHz LPDDR4x). Some help, please! Which has the best value for money?
Best Windows Ultrabook of 2019?
Which one to buy the Spectre or the Dell? You gave Spectre editor choice !
Both are excellent. if you need more ports and better keyboard go with the Spectre
Looking sharp on your videos
Thanks really appreciate it 👊

It's nice that Price is not among cons.
Will you review the new HP Spectre x360 with 17 10th please? I want to buy that beautiful laptop ☺️.
Yes I will be reviewing it.
I was planning to buy the spectre but the 16.9 display is a huge drawback to me
Yes i want to see c940.
I don't know if its just because its a brand new release for Lenovo but for me its had a 2.5 week delivery time :( very disappointing when I was expecting something like a few days that is offered by Apple. I'm expecting to receive my laptop on the 17th of this month.
@@MaZEEZaM yup for me too
@@MaZEEZaM same man, ordered mine and still haven't received it
Jack B it might be because it’s a brand new release, it’s coming directly from the manufacturer in Shanghai and mine has now been shipped but even then they are using economy shipping speeds, almost a week, incredibly slow for Shanghai to Australia. It’s a disappointing start, near 3 weeks wait, I just hope the laptop itself won’t be a disappointment. I’m pretty sure it’s not something that can be returned if it proves to be at least in Australia, the Microsoft Surface and Dell XPS 13 2in1 looks pretty tempting.
Can I work well with Cinema 4d and After effects with this laptop?
Would look for something with a discrete gpu
Andrew, I just love the way you do your reviews. Need some advise from your end. My primary laptop is the new MacBook Pro 16”. However, I need a second device from a portability point of view, one that I can use for media consumption and some basic intermittent office work (Remote Desktop, MS Office, Internet). Which one would you recommend of the following:
1. XPS 13 2-in-1 i7 512GB 16GB RAM
2. IPad Pro 12.9” 3rd generation
Thanks a lot in advance.
neither.
How about the speakers? Are they comparable to the 2019 MacBook Pro? BTW amazing review!
Speakers are really grat!
speakers are crap, tinny af. Also the fingerprint sensor doesn't work. underside gets unbearably hot and the 4k battery is crap. and don't even get me started on that crappy maglev keyboard.
All laptop Webcams are bad, when even a 100$ Phone has a better selfie camera. Thunderboltcharging goes up to 100w, dell has it on other laptops even with 130w, does this laptop support higher wattage chargers?
Nice BUT, me and some friends are waiting on "your" review of the Surface X, Seven and other new Microsoft products that are not being sold yet but are being reviewed on youtube.
Surface pro 7 today and X tomorrow
THANKS FOR VIDEO...
KINDLY PLEASE SHARE DETAILS DOES 10th GEN WILL COME IN 15 INCH IF YES PLEASE UPDATE.
I don't believe that it does.
Sponsor links are dead.
Are you sure that peak brightness is 465? Dell claim it is 500+ and is HDR400 certified? Thanks :)
Yes that is what I measured.
Please compare this to the YOGA C940
When does the LENOVO YOGA c940 come out? I've been waiting
I ordered one here in Australia. Being shipped from China. Ordered on the 14 of September but it keeps delaying, still not shipped yet, and im getting pissed. I may cancel the order, but i think is a better value than the Xps.
Same I asked him in his last video as well
@@adams2558 it came out in the United States already and i bought it
@@WasifulFahim i bought it as well I'm in the Netherlands, have to wait 3 to 4 weeks tho😞
Definitely the best tech reviewer on the tube.. what a shame
We will pass 100k soon! Thanks really appreciate it 👊
Please compare with spectre
I7-1065G7 has 8mb of L3 cache and not 4mb. Overall review is really good though :)
in 2019 ithe web cam is awful, weve advanced much further than that. its sad manufactores dont get it. great review really enjoyed it. im looking at this when its on discount but need to hear what it sounds like with media like netflix and 1080p with touch screen.
This is great laptop, BUT main problem on this device is fan management ..fan still spinning on low task loads. Very annoying for night work. Unfortunately No solution ( Bios update, drivers ... ) at this time.
One solution is switch to XPS 15 2 in 1 ... great cooling management . But this laptop is heavy ( 2kg) not very good for mobility
They have introduced fan management in the software now.
sweet i can finally activate my windows 10 pro
Can u please do new surface pro 7 review?
Its coming
i think u deserve more subscribers
Thanks really appreciate it 👊
Hey Andrew I am concerned about you supporting lvlkey. Isn't this illegal to advertise these types of websites?
Waiting for a new hp Spectre 360
This tablet laptop is so thin light small and awesome perfect for me just i dont afford it
This is a design defect product, I bought last year, all the rubber strips are peeled due to the heat of CPU. And it’s not under warranty. You will need to pay a whole shell cost to fix and no guarantee for whether it will happen again or not
I have order one base on your review 😁 but i order a 4k despite ur opinion 😜
Go for it!
Dell sadly bundles the 1TB disk (which I want) with 32GB's of ram (which is overkill for me) and the 4K screen (which is overkill for pretty much anyone on a 13" screen). Ah well, future proof to a degree I guess!
Actually that's exactly the configuration I ordered... with Thunderbolt 3 and the better graphics this should last me for quite awhile...
You can always upgrade the SSD yourself
@@Sponch1 everything is soldered inside - ssd, ram, wifi card.
You could get the 16GB RAM/512GB SDD and just add a 512GB MicroSD card (you always leave in) for 1TB of total storage.
@@cazibrasga I've tried that on a Surface Book before, and it wasn't really a great success. It works OK for storage but it isn't good for any files being worked on due to the speeds.
As for the laptop, got it on Friday. Pretty impressed so far, the 4K screen is amazing, build quality is good (although my trackpad has a tiny rattle on occasion) and performance is solid. The DELL bloatware had to go though, soooo many processes running all the time!
Wtf where is the 64 version I can't find it anywhere I hunk 16 Gb is the biggest ram.
AMD Reviews INTEL.
Why they stuck with this carbon interior? Am I only one think that carbon should stay in 2007?
Im getting 6 hours battery life. Not sure how anyone is getting better than that on this laptop
I have 4k 32 gb ram, and the battery life is 3.5 hrs MAX for doing simple surfing and I presume it will be less if play video- battery is a disaster and its a shame for spending more than 2000 GBP for such a crap laptop.
Dell - XPS 13.4" 2-in-1 Touch UHD+ Laptop - Intel Core i7- 16GB Memory - 512GB Solid State Drive (Price $1,599.99 from Bestbuy). Lenovo - Yoga 9i 14 2-in-1 14" Touch-Screen Laptop - Intel Evo Platform Core i7 - 16GB Memory - 512GB SSD - Shadow Black (price $1,699.99). Dell is cheaper but better.
take my effing hard earned money!!
The most beautiful laptop with one of the worst keyboard, that's keeping me away from the XPS 13.
Speakers are crap, tinny af. Also the fingerprint sensor doesn't work. underside gets unbearably hot and the 4k battery is crap. and don't even get me started on that crappy maglev keyboard.
Are you a laptop man
DELL XPS 13 7390 2 in 1, is the worst laptop ever, it’s completely unreliable! I spent countless hours troubleshooting many problems, Windows 10 is completely broken on this laptop. I still can't reliably transfer files to and from my external HDD's, speed goes very often to 0 B/s for 10s and then resumes for 2s and so on. It's very loud laptop. It wakes up and heats up really hard on closed lid, no update fixed it yet. Most of the problems are maybe because of Windows and I can't switch to linux, because it is not supported... I can't reach any English support from Japan, ffs!!! I just switched to MacBook Pro which is amazing, it just works great and I spent a day to learn it! Now I need to get rid of this crap!
Nothing surprising, bored with dell... Expensive with nothing
